The meal started with a complimentary chicken and rice soup, served in a small bowl. The broth of the soup was made up of a fatty and rich chicken stock, with a slight aroma of fish sauce and some cracked peppers. As soon as I tasted it, I could tell that the food was going to be quality. The thai milk tea was on the better end. It's not the best thai milk tea I have ever had, but its strong, concentrated flavor got the job done. The pad thai, while not as reddish colored as I have seen other places make it, very much tasted like authentic pad thai. I ordered the dish with the medium spice level, and I was happy to receive the proper Thai medium spiciness, not some watered down version that pulls back on the punches. The pork in the dish was tender, not overcooked or dry. I also appreciated that there wasn't a large amount of bean sprouts dumped onto the meal to make it seem as if the quantity of the food was larger. There was enough food served that I had another whole meal packed in a container at the end. Overall, I'm glad that there is a good Thai option nearby for people to enjoy. I'd love to come back to order some of their other dishes.
