I didn't order food (next time, then?) but we ran the gamut of drinks and hookah for a few hours and it reminded me that I actually need to book a flight to Addis or Bahir... But I digress. It's a small, cozy spot but even if it was packed I wouldn't call it crowded. And the muzikaaa.. Perfect playlist--some afrobeat, some traditional /national Ethiopian.. All love for my tastes. I'm hoping the next time I'm bending a few corners in the east and have some time to kill I can get another glimpse and maybe chop with the owner.

Periodically, the amazing servers pass around complementary Ethiopian coffee, which is delicious and an experience within itself. Servers are constantly checking in as well. Pricing was good. Unfortunately , we went on a Sunday most recently . After 11:45 pm, there was no more American music . It was strictly Ethiopian traditional music. That's fine , however that type of music isn't really easy to dance and be sexy to. A little RnB would have went a long way . Service: 5/5 Prices: 5/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Taste/Textures: N/A Value: 4/5 Bottom Line : Besides the music, we love this spot! We will try again on a Friday or Saturday night to experience the turnup!

The space opens up to a large shared area with couches everywhere surrounding and pointing to a big screen, perfect for a more public experience, but they also have rooms. We were in one of them for my friend's birthday celebration, and the hostess pointed me to the room no problem. The rooms themselves are spacious with a screen where you can pull up YouTube karaoke. Two mics and a Bluetooth keyboard that was pretty easy to handle. Loved that there were no technical issues, so the equipment proved reliable. But even if we had run into something, service was so attentive that I know it would have been fixed promptly. Speaking of service, I can't remember a time I received my food and drink orders so quickly. That was super impressive and made the experience all the better. They have a fun drink menu and decent pricing, so I definitely recommend. One thing I will say is that the payment terminal doesn't make it clear that 18% gratuity is already included and the itemized receipt doesn't automatically pop up, so it's very easy to mistakenly tip 20% on top of that. It would be nice if the server was more upfront about that in general, but she was also great, so it's not the end of the world. All in all, I truly enjoyed my time there.

They have private karaoke rooms, which makes it way more fun and personal, and the energy is always lit The food and drinks actually hit (which is rare for a lounge), and if you go on Tuesday, don't miss the $2 tacos and $5 drinks -- such a steal! They also have hookah and different themed nights, so there's always something going on. The best part? FREE private karaoke Monday through Wednesday, which makes it such a fun and affordable night out. Also amazing service as well. One of the best parts is how easy it is when you arrive--you can walk right in, pick your table, and get settled without any hassle. They have call buttons at each table to request a server, which makes ordering seamless. The service was really good--attentive, quick, and consistent throughout. The hookah itself was a standout. They offer a wide range of flavors, ice hoses, and use silicone bowls, which I personally love. Everything was smooth and well-prepared. There was also a DJ playing, which added a nice vibe to the atmosphere, and they have a large menu with plenty of food options. I tried the wings--they were decent, nothing special--but overall, the experience, hookah quality, and service make this a solid spot to come back to.
