The view of the Adelaide Hills from the position of the Cellar Door is breath taking. Rolling green hills that seem to go forever. A great place for tourists to get an idea of how beautiful the Adelaide Hills can be. The owner took time to accommodate us in our tasting and inquiries during a busy service time while running at least 3 x functions. All guests, even the children were enjoying what Anderson Hills has to offer, a down to earth family winery experience. Not only is the wine and beer great, the menu is something that I will be back for as well. They offer wood oven pizzas, awesome sliders, and chutney & cheese platter. For the wine connoisseurs, please take note of the sauvignon blanc. It is quite unique in taste for the Adelaide Hills. Quite subtle and not as bitter as the rest. I actually love this place so much, I booked it in for my Father's 60th Birthday.

Would have been nicer with more cheese but the apple was nice and fresh and the breads were amazing. Very nice building that is very accessible once you are inside. Hard to get through the car park in a wheelchair though.

Visitors can taste and buy the premium Pike & Joyce wines, under the watchful eye of the Pikes Wines winemakers Neil Pike and Steve Baraglia. A sumptuous offering of food is available Fri-Sun by in house caterers, Stuart Oldfield's Hand Made Catering. Platters and Cheese Plates are available during all opening hours. Functions of up to 120 people can be booked. This is a must see destination. I loved the gnocchi with a Pinot Noir by try the Gruner Veltliner, a native Austrian wine variety which is finding its home in the Adelaide Hills.
