The moment that just stunned me on our wedding day was when Christa pulled up the creative deck I had sent her months prior and showed a photo I had on it that represented the "sentiment" I wanted to capture from that night. She said she wanted to recreate that photo and had brought special lighting and planned the moment just to make it happen. I felt so heard by Christa in the moment, and that exact photo is the wallpaper on my phone today. Christa Rae is one of the approved vendors for the Naval Academy, and she nailed keeping us on pace for that tight schedule, while still keeping the afternoon stress-free. To top it off, we went to visit my grandmother who couldn't travel to the wedding three days after the wedding, and Christa turned around an AMAZING preview package for us to show her in three days and I was totally blown away when I saw it. Christa took such care to give us an awesome amount of gorgeous photos and also made herself available that day when we had questions about access. I couldn't me more happy with Christa Rae's attentiveness, storytelling, and kindness - thank you, Christa!

I was also particularly concerned about making sure our photographer didn't stress us out day-of and Christa is just so sweet and relaxed, she was so great to work with. Christa was really helpful with planning, did her homework on our venue and nearby places to take pictures if we wanted a different backdrop, and even followed my Pinterest board for our engagement shoot, which was a super easy way to share our vision with her. I would recommend Christa Rae Photography to other brides in a heartbeat!

Throughout our work with Angel she was incredibly responsive, professional, and kind. We loved our engagement photos (which Angel had to brave the rain to shoot) as they were bright and beautiful and really let our personalities shine through. Our wedding was a weekend long party on several acres of property and Angel ran around for pretty much 48 straight hours capturing every moment. Then, within TWO WEEKS of our wedding she had 1200 (that is not a typo, 1200!) beautifully edited images to us. That is a pretty amazing turn around. Her naturally lit, photo-journalistic style was perfect for the vibe of our wedding. She has a great eye for detail and her photos are beautifully composed. And the incredibly reasonable rates for such a hard-working professional make Angel Kidwell Photography the best value in the mid-Atlantic.
