Flew in to see our helicopter pilot son at Ft. Rucker in Alabama. We immediately got something to eat, loaded up some guns and headed into Dothan to visit his favorite outdoor firing range. This is the single best outdoor firing range I've ever been to. Everyone gets their private covered bench on their own lane. I've never seen anything like this before. No sharing a lane or bay with strangers of such you have no idea who are or how safe they are. The other cool thing is you get to drive right up to your lane and park your car right there. I've been shooting my entire life and never ever seen anything so perfect when it comes to shooting. The staff were really nice and fun to talk to. I hated the 20 minute safety video I had to watch to register to shoot but I get it. Most people are stupid and can't be trusted to employ common sense. They do have some retail sales but I didn't really get a chance to look through it all. I was too excited to get out and shoot. The price was reasonable and very much in line with other outdoor ranges over been to. The people in this area are really lucky. If I lived here, I'd be here all the time. I'd definitely be a member if they, indeed, have memberships. I didn't ask as I don't live here. I'd like to reiterate that this is the very best outdoor range over been to and I wish you everything holy we had something like this in the Denver area. read more
