The owner checked on us and shared his story of opening the restaurant. He built the furniture, did the stainless work, tables, benches...all of it! If you've ever been to a Five Guys burger place then you know what to expect as it's basically a UP vibe of a Five Guys knockoff that also offers fish dinners. The burger was really good, and i'd say they actually use a better bun then Five Guys but I did have a little problem with the prices. Now before anyone gets on me for mentioning price, I work in food service and don't have a problem paying but $20 dollars for a single cheese burger and fries (tip) is a little pricey in my humble opinion. On this occasion i took my lunch up the road to the rest stop and ate on beach overlooking Lake Michigan. I feel Clyde's overall is a better burger but I'm certainly looking forward to coming back to try the fish sandwich!!
