I've experienced blasé to atrocious service on several occasions from separate waitresses at Tall Timber, which indicates to me it's a problem coming from the top. The last time I went the waitress tried to tell me I should't sit at a dirty table when I politely asked her for a menu (after sitting there for 8 minutes unattended). When I commented it was the only table left, she then told me I should have checked the courtyard (which I had and it was also full). I ask you, what kind of waitress thinks it's a good idea to critique a customer's choice of table?
The food is delicious, luxuriant, nourishing and wholesome; I cannot recommend it highly enough. Coffee is very delicate and creamy; I generally prefer it with more body but can appreciate it for what it is. It's too bad the service is so off-putting. read more
