After seeing my wife's skin the days following her appointment, I immediately preceded to fill out Lindy's online client intake form. Generally, Lindy is booked solid; however, I was fortunate to absorb an appointment that was cancelled by a client. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Lindy shortly after stepping out of my vehicle. Lindy led me into her quiet and clean skin studio, in which she proceeded to inquire about any concerns that I have pertaining to my skin. I shared with Lindy that I suffered from cystic acne in my teens and early 20's; therefore, I was looking for a treatment to remove some acne scars. She suggested that I have a special treatment that would gradually remove the scarring, which led to me scheduling a future appointment to begin the treatment. As Lindy began the process, we engaged in casual conversation that took my mind away from the slight discomfort of the facial (I have a low pain tolerance when it comes to face treatments). In between conversation, Lindy did a great job of checking in to make sure that I was ok. Following the treatment, I was amazed at the appearance of my skin. I was a new Grandma and almost 49 and didn't want to waste another second wondering, so I started researching salons online. I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I checked Groupon first. I found some places but they didn't have very good reviews. So I kept searching and found Radiant Skin by Lauren on Yelp. I was a little leery to even get a facial because I have very sensitive skin. Even though I have oily skin it doesn't take too much of a bad product to make the skin peel off of my face like a sunburn. But after seeing all of the 5 star reviews I decided to make an appointment with Lauren, almost four weeks ago now. It was a little more than I wanted to spend but I was SO HAPPY I did! The whole experience was fabulous. Her room was comfortable and clean. She used only organic products that smelled fantastic. She was gentle yet thorough as she was applying and removing the various products to/from my face. And in between the multiple processes, while my face was absorbing the natural goodness of the products and steam, she massaged my calves and feet and then arms and hands. I had no idea that came with the facial. Bonus! All while cocooned in warm fluffy blankets. I stayed awake through the whole thing because of the excitement of what was to come. I loved every minute of it and my face never peeled, just smooth tighter skin. And before I left, I scheduled my next facial, which is in a couple of days. Oh, and I almost forgot, she does a great job on eyebrows too.
