I was told I had a position to start, completed the required background check and drug screening, and was told I would receive information about where and who to report to. I never received the promised call or information. I had to reach out myself the following day, and even after being told someone would call me back, I was left waiting again. The position starts at 4pm and it was 12pm and I STILL haven't heard anything. Communication throughout this process has been poor, and I feel my time was not respected. If a candidate is expected to complete requirements and be prepared to start a job, the staffing company should provide clear and timely communication in return. To make matters worse, after leaving me without the information I was promised for my original assignment, they attempted to offer me a completely different position to start the very next day. I was expected to somehow obtain steel-toe boots on extremely short notice in order to be prepared. To me, it seems like they switch the job I was suppose to start with someone else.
