I really like the lobby remodel they did a few years ago, really opens it up and it's a more welcoming vibe. I donate early in the morning so it's usually pretty quiet in the lobby and back in the donation area. My phone usually cooperates when I do the questions at home and take a picture of the QR code. I appreciate that this feature was added a couple years ago!! Before you could do the questions but you were to print out the verification. Now you get a QR code and the option to email it to yourself. On occasion they give out short or long sleeve t-shirts for donating. I've also received a couple of Give a Pint Get a Pint cards. They have great snacks & beverage options in the little cantina where you're supposed to wait after your donation. The phlebotomist always asks what color bandage you want? I can always make my next appointment with the friendly receptionist before I leave. Thanks Memorial Blood for making saving lives such an easy thing to do!

Today at CSL Plasma, I waited approximately 40 minutes for saline after my donation, followed by another 20 minutes waiting to be disconnected. That's an hour of sitting there wondering whether I had somehow become part of the furniture. I understand that medical facilities get busy. I understand that people have bad days. What I find considerably harder to understand is neglecting someone who is quite literally sitting there waiting for assistance. CSL Plasma, you're dealing with people who have voluntarily given their time, their blood, and their trust. The least one might reasonably expect in return is to be acknowledged when they need help. I don't require champagne and a marching band. Just competent attention. A little urgency occasionally separates good service from an extraordinarily long afternoon.

Upon entering, I was immediately offered a snack and drink. I was about 20 minutes early for my appointment and waited less than 3 minutes to be brought into the check in process. Check in was smooth, especially if you fill in the form online before getting to your appointment. My assistant through the process was great. Very customer focused. Making sure I was feeling ok. Making sure she accommodated my needs with regard to needle sticks and sight of blood. Huge array of snacks and drinks for your recovery. I actually stayed there a bit longer in one of their lounge chairs and finished my book. Great experience!!

There's a cute resting area with snacks, beverages, magazines, a fireplace, and comfortable chairs where you chill and eat cookies for 15 minutes after you donate. They also have a huge library of dvds for the people donating platelets which takes 2-3.5 hours. A regular blood donation takes about 30 minutes all-in. The nurses were really nice and will chat with you to keep you distracted from the massive needle in your arm, and my nurse brought me a couple of cranberry juices to keep me from getting lightheaded. She also did a great job with the needle, it was honestly pretty much painless! There's a free parking lot, same lot as the Festival Foods store, and they accept walk-ins but you can also make appointments online! You can donate blood every 8 weeks; it's a nice thing to do on a day off to 1. Be a good person and 2. Eat some free Oreos... so get at it!

I left without having my 2 scheduled MRIs, due to poor communication from Rayus prior to my appt. & due to a bad feeling I got from both the receptionist and the "technician" (I question if she really is a licensed technician, she was made up like a...well, I won't say it). Suffice it to say...unprofessional! I trust my "gut feelings", they're rarely wrong! If your Dr. wants to send you to Rayus, just say no!

While the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the experiences I have had have varied across visits including needing multiple pokes before the blood flowed well for the donation and how much information is shared on the current promotions for donors.

(yes, Da Bears) we couldn't make it to a brewery drive this time. so, we decided to go directly to the donor center. it was a thursday evening and not very busy. this could partially be due to the nasty weather outside. the donation center is very clean with plenty of seating and donation chairs. our appointments were at 5 and 5:15. we got there around 4:45.we were both checked in and in a screening room within a few minutes. screening went quickly and a few minutes later, we were sitting in donation chairs. the staff was very professional and skilled. my wife has horrible veins (her words, not mine. well.... kind of mine). they're skinny, tend to blow out, and roll like a dinghy caught in an ocean storm. but, her phlebotomist nailed it on the first stick. overall a great experience at this Memorial Blood donation center. for anyone in the area, please consider donating. there's always a need for blood! and after donating, hit up Kajiken right down the road for a great bowl of ramen!

I am so grateful to the clinic for offering Covid testing in a safe efficient way. They offered free Covid testing in the month of October 2020, and I felt really safe while doing drive-through testing. The staff were really efficient and on top of everything. The staff is thorough, including a doctor calling us at home, on a holiday, to check on our daughter who had pneumonia. I especially appreciate that you can come in anytime for ReadyCare visits - because of course children don't get sick on a schedule. Expect to wait if you come in for one of these visits -- but it's much better than our old clinic, where we were not able to get in for unexpected issues. Front desk staff has always been pleasant and courteous, and the doctors are fantastic. And, you can even get a flu shot when you bring your children in to get theirs. Our children are now teenagers, and they still feel well cared-for and comfortable here.
