I am usually not a big fan of this store, as I feel it tends to suit my mother more than me. Their patterns and colors looked more like Lily Pulitzer today. We parked in the back, the whole Front Door Kercheval was completely packed. They have some very colorful cardigans with decorative buttons towards the back, it was displayed in this magenta color. I absolutely love the color, but I don't wear cardigans much. I much prefer the pull over style sweaters for me. The staff were helpful with some of the different sizing for my mother to try on. She wanted to try this fuchsia colored sweater that almost look like a jersey or sweatshirt style, but it had decorative details on the buttons on the left shoulder. You were able to get her the pink sweater as well as this seafoam colored pullover sweater that was in a petite. She was super happy to find one item, let alone two items to wear over the holidays. They had some cute holiday themed sweaters, but it would've been nicer if they were a little bit more fitted in the waist. They were still the same short style sweater that I'm not a huge fan of. The flashy Soirée kept catching my eye too. Fun. The Sherpa or wool red jacket reminded me of this old German styled jacket I had during college. It was cute with decorative metal buttons, but the office I work in isn't dressy at all. We used to have to pay donation money each week to wear jeans to work, now it's the norm. read more

Horrible service at this location. Dirty store and rude associates. Shop Talbots if you like to be treated badly.

I had a horrible experience there. It started out fine. The store didn't have something in my size, so the salesperson offered to order it and have it sent to my house. I agreed to that, paid for it and then five days later got an email saying that Talbots didn't have the jacket, so it wouldn't be coming. No mention of refund? I've sent emails and calls regarding refund of my money and to date have not been able to get any resolution. Customer service has been unapologetic and inept, long call times, dropped calls, and no response to emails. I am canceling my card and will not shop with them again. read more

Went to Talbots on Black Friday. They were only letting 6 people in at a time, which made me feel comfortable entering the store. However, as I was leaving, the associate who opened and held the door open for me to leave, suddenly pulled her entire mask down to her chin to yell something to the clerk at the cash registered. She did this as I was passing through the door with my face about 18 inches from her face. What have I learned? Stay away from bricks and mortar retail. Shop online. Don't try to give business to the locals because there are too many risk variables regardless of policy. I see this as a failure of employee supervision. read more
