Due to the difficulty and risk involved for excavation, it was hard to find a contractor to take on the job but from my initial consult with Victor, him and his team noted their experience with these scenarios and he was confident they can do it in less than a day. On excavation day they brought the necessary equipment and tools and were very cautious about the gas pipe. They ended up finishing the job in less than a half day! I submitted a request for bids on Yelp and Aldo properly responded. While I was waiting to gather more contact s for bids Aldo reached out to me after 2 to 3 days to see if I was still interested, so I could tell that he had follow through and took his business seriously. Good sign. I was initially hesitant to use him due to the name of the company. I had it in my mind that I needed a landscaper to correct the sink hole, but I was wrong. Upon meeting, Aldo I was impressed with his punctuality and friendliness. He gave us a very fair bid for the amount of work to be done. My wife and I felt that he was the right fit and asked him when he could start. He had his crew began the work within two hours of signing a contract that day. They came in on budget, finished the work in the agreed upon timeline and returned the landscaping to pristine condition. They then scheduled a time to come out. We went over the project, and I was told it was definitely something they do & getting me a quote would be no problem. Later that day I was informed it would take a couple of weeks to get back with the quote, because they do several bids a day & it takes time to get them out. 3 weeks later (this morning) I get an email saying they won't be bidding my work, because they are changing their scope of work, and this just isn't the kind of job they're looking for. Too bad, because once I learn the building process on my ADU I have plans to move on to doing a small subdivision.... And things will only go up from there. My family has built residential & commercial real estate for decades, and I am presently looking for the right people to use in the future. Not the best way to run a business, but hey.... Maybe they don't think long term & that's ok. Most business like that will peak & by the next generation will diminish into nothing. These guys wasted my time, and ultimately acted too good for my job.

Both projects turned out even better than we had hoped! Dan does a thorough job of coming out and discussing your project needs and "wish list" of things you want to do. He creates a design and a budget and he works with you every step of the way, addressing your questions, concerns and/or modifications. Throughout the course of both projects we changed our minds about a few aspects and Dan was flexible and made sure we were 100% happy with the final result. His office team is also super helpful and responsive since Dan is often out on site. I also cannot say enough about the crew he has working for him. They show up every day on time, they are very neat and clean up at the end of each day. They work very quickly but they are also meticulous in getting every detail right. I cannot recommend GHS enough. No matter how big or small your project is, Dan and his team will do an amazing job!
