There was a hole in the wood and he didn't fix it, he left a raised lip by the door which is a hazard- easy to trip on when walking out of the room, he left some really bad scars and discoloration on the floor, and it wasn't cost effective to do two floors. Our fabulous general contractor, John Schull, recommended we go here as well as a couple of other places. We looked at their display and found a couple of possibilities. Henry Basilbird Cisio, the owner's grandson, was helping us. He said, "Let me do some research and see what I can find." Two business days later he emailed us the perfect natural stone veneer. Now THAT is great customer service.

I purchased rock for landscaping from a local company in Phoenix, OR. Leave Your Mark When I started working with them, they were extremely nice, helpful and accommodating, I was excited to write a rave review to them after our transaction was completed. Then they delivered the rock. It was full of dirt. The owner Pete, personally came out to our house to see it for himself. He was mortified and very apologetic. He said he would pay for the time my landscapers spent cleaning the rock. He said they would pick it up and deliver new, clean rock next week. This is where it goes bad... he calls me later to say, you can have it free if you want to rinse out the dirt. I agree, unwillingly. He calls back 20 minutes later to say, actually, I will pick it up. Come to find out he sold it. So he would rather go back on his word for $145. So I am not very pleased with him at this point, so I said take it back. He is now not sure he can deliver clean rock next week. When his employees picked it up, they gave me a hard time saying the rock was perfectly fine etc... pretty much being jerks and they end up selling it to my neighbor (which I am glad she got it for a good deal, no delivery fee.) Pete, the owner walks away without paying for the landscapers, he promised to pay. Conclusion- ACCOUNTABILITY, I cannot say it enough. As nice as this local company may seem, be careful of their promises. They do not tend to keep them. I felt lied to and I was accused of lying. When he dropped off the money, he said to Ross, "I am not paying for the landscapers to lay down the weed cover." So he shorted us $20. Note... the landscapers had the weed cover laid down over a week ago.

BUYER BEWARE OF THIS BUILDER My rating of this company is not to go an a tangent but to speak facts…read moreand truth. SO BEWARE IF YOU USE THIS COMPANY We hired this company in good faith and at first all was good as we met to discuss plans and site prep. I will outline each area we had issues with and the outcome. 1 - CONCRETE Back Patio was supposed to have more lines (I don't know the word for them) but to stop cracking. We were told by at least 3 other companies there should have been 1 to 2 more lines. That didn't happen and within months of moving in there are cracks through our concrete. The garage has about 6 areas where there are chunks out of the concrete. And we were told they would be fixed. To this day nothing was done about them 2 - Electrical - within the first 3 months of moving in we had to have breakers replaced as the breakers that were used to begin kept breaking and shutting out lights and power down. Also they were supposed to come out and put electrical in the floor of our living room. Power is ran to the underneath but after calling numerous times they still have not been back (1 and 1/2 year later). Also now we just had an outage with our Well. the Pump company had to come out and run a 50 yard external temporary cable to the Well Head from our garage until we can find the wire that is bad. THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN ON A HOUSE THAT IS JUST OVER A YEAR LIVED IN. 3 - Cleaning - After the contractor was supposedly completed, we were told a cleaning crew was comping out to clean the entire house. We were told EVERYTHING... NOTHING was done and we were charged for it. My wife had to get on her hands and knees to clean the entire house. To be transparent on all sides, we received a lump sum of money from the bank back to us that was supposed to to the contractor. We didn't want the money and nor did we ask to keep it. All I told the contractor was come finish the jobs and we will give you the money. I said here is a list of things and he didn't like that very much and sent an email to us to keep the money he was done. So to conclude, instead of sitting down and fixing the issues and getting his money he decided to get upset and hold grudges. Update: I called him on 3-13-24 to ask if we could talk about how we can work to get this well fixed and I treated him with nothing but respect and all he could say to me was I was contacted by the Electrical Company and the Rogue Valley Pump company and they called you a liar. I am not sure what that means.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR LAMINATE VINYL FLOORING INSTALLATIONS!!…read more THIS IS THE TEXT I SENT TO CONVERSE FLOORING: Hello Laurie, this is Greg DeBré and I just wanted to let you know what was going on with our flooring. We are replacing all the flooring you installed 5 years ago, which we discussed. Here is what we have learned so far as we completed the bedroom yesterday: 1. There were NO major dips or uneven areas in the concrete which is what your installer claimed to be the cause of our issues. 2. There was NO vapor barrier installed as is required on all installations over concrete slab subfloors. 3. There were NO expansion gaps as is required by all flooring manufacturers for laminate flooring installations. In other words, everything that could have been done incorrectly was exactly that; an extremely faulty and poor installation. I will update you on the livingroom replacement when it is completed next week. I expect to find the same outcome there. The installation Converse provided was terrible and caused all the damage we incurred. As you refused to take any responsibility or even to come look at the problems, there has no way I was going to allow your company to do any further work in our house. This is a shame because your work installing our carpet upstairs and HD linoleum in our laundry room was excellent. Converse should not be selling and installing vinyl plank flooring as that is not something you do successfully. I've informed the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (OCCB) which unfortunately will not follow up as your installation was over 1 year ago, which is their time limit. They did inform me that I have 6 years to take legal if I choose to do so. We were trying to avoid any type of litigation but your actions have made us rethink that position.
