I would not recommend this place if you expect a high level detail…read more We chose the "Showroom Detail interior only" for $200. They told us the showroom detail takes 8 hours. I was expecting my vehicle to be pristine (showroom!) and smell nice. The good: It is cleaner than when we brought it in. The bad: There are still dirty, crusty spots on the seats, I can see dust/dirty spots in the cracks/vents, the carpets are still dirty looking, there's still glitter on the dash and inner door panels, and it smells like dirty mop water.

This is the second time I have had an issue with Valvoline…read more This time, I went in for a standard oil change, didn't need anything else but they offered the filter replacement. I got home and noticed a strange smell but thought my neighbor may have been burning something. I told my spouse about it and they checked beneath the car that night when they got home. There was an oil spot. Valvoline was closed and we live about 30 miles away. That morning, spouse checked my oil and it was completely dry and was saturated under the car. I immediately called and reported it to Valvoline. I have a full time job and kids and needed a car that was functioning so we had to get a local mechanic to look at it. He pulled the oil filter that Valvoline had put it in and it was busted/cracked. The air filter box screws were stripped and forced in so he took it off to check the air filter. It was tore up and bent as well. The undercarriage of my car was absolutely covered in oil. Multiple days later, I finally got a call back from Valvoline. I sent them all the pictures and mechanic reports. They decided they would not reimburse for the oil change, the mechanic cost to get my car back running, etc. Minorly - the time before this, I noticed a plastic piece hanging down from the bottom of my car. Told my spouse. He opened the hood and was able to fish it out. It was a filter grabbing/tightening tool. I asked Valvoline if it was theirs, they proudly said they used them during oil filter changes, I told them they left it in my engine. Very very upset at the cost of this mistake and how they are refusing to take responsibility and make it right. Very poor customer care.

10/10 - Highly Recommend Trevin at High Performance!…read more I can't say enough good things about Trevin M. from High Performance. My 2003 Toyota Camry had a broken bolt on the tension assembly that made changing the alternator drive belt a nightmare. I had pretty much washed my hands with the car and figured it was a lost cause--but I decided to give Trevin a shot. He came out to my house, worked hard, and really knew what he was doing. He ended up having to pull the alternator and drill out the broken bolt that was still threaded in there. Not an easy job, but he handled it like a pro. Trevin was knowledgeable, personable, and didn't give up when most would've. You can tell he takes pride in his work and cares about getting things done right. I'd definitely call High Performance again for any of my vehicle needs and would recommend them to anyone looking for honest, quality work. Thanks again, Trevin - 10 out of 10 for sure!
