My husband also bought a set of truck tires once off the internet and they were willing to put them on. Since leaving up north, it's hard to find a Cooper dealer and we're thrilled to see they deal on them. Support your local businesses, don't go to a chain. The last time my husband did that with a fleet vehicle, he pulled out onto the highway and the tire fell off. When I was told by my employer to take my fleet vehicle to a box store mechanic shop, the mechanic got in the drivers seat with greasy coveralls and I needed a ride home until they could have it professionally cleaned. Never again. Small biz or bust.

This bogus shop called " Ice Cold Air " in crystal River FL is the worst place to bring your…read morevehicle. They installed a fuel pump on my van and charged me 550 plus dollars for a 50 dollar mechanical fuel pump. I didn't mind the cost because I was stuck in Crystal River. The problem is this Fu@k boy Rick will not own up to installing the wrong fuel pump in my van. From the minute I drove my van out of the shop I was having issues. I brought the van back within 10 minutes and his little bit@h boy that works there tried to tell me it's low on gas add some gas and see what happens. I brought the van back the next day and Ricky told me it's your carburetor is bad. Keep in mind I had no issues with my carburetor. So I took his advice and had another place install a new carburetor only to find out the fuel pump is putting out way too much fuel. Hence these people are morons for not checking the fuel pressure. To top it off this idiot Rick tries to intimidate me by raising his voice talking over me and using every excuse not to accept responsibility for their lack of experience in automotive repair. My advice is to skip this shop.

They told him it was not an injector but something in the "BRAIN BOX" and it needed replaces. Hexwas going to hire a Diesel mechanic to guarantee the work. This truck has now been sitting there 2YEARS. No response from owner. With this sitting for 2 years the fuel tank and the lines along with fuel filter all will have to drained and replaced. Our vehicle engine was making loud noises and could not be driven over 30 mph. Our extended…read morewarranty had just expired, and a friend recommended Swander's to us, so we towed our vehicle there for our first visit. Within 90 minutes, the customer service representative, April, called to inform us that the engine was dead. She also mentioned that the manufacturer had recently added an extended warranty for engine failures. Unknown to us, our engine was still covered under this warranty, and the manufacturer would replace it at no cost. We appreciate the thorough and complimentary service provided by Swander's and April. It's refreshing to find such outstanding service and goodwill in the automotive maintenance industry. We will definitely return to Swander's in the future.

We were ignored until after filing a complaint with the BBB. When we did finally get a reply, it dismissed all concerns and offered no solution. We again responded professionally, hoping for resolution--but were ignored yet again. The lack of accountability and poor quality control is completely unacceptable. We're now stuck with a $467 loss and additional fuel and logistical costs from relying on one vehicle. Avoid Swander's if you expect honest, thorough, or responsive service.
