Having lived in many cities across Ontario and logging in excess of 50,000 Km on average yearly, a…read moregreat mechanic has always been a neccessity. I am not mechanically inclined but I have developed a knack for knowing when something wasn't right with my vehicle and always felt that the mechanics I dealt with took advantage of my female status and talked me into service not necessary. Then I met Matt and his team at Baden Automotive. I cannot say enough about Matt, who as owner and team leader is the most trustworthy mechanic I have ever met and/or dealt with. They are in my book at the top of the ladder in service, skill and their knowledge of cars. They go above and beyond and in three years I have never felt ripped off, and often feel like I haven't paid enough. Review writing is not something I do, but I felt it was important to share Matt and his team with the rest of the Waterloo Region.

This is an unpaid and unsolicited recommendation of this local business…read more I had a really sloppy gearshift in my 1999 Honda Civic (manual transmission) due to the bushing(s) being gone. I didn't really want to spend much on it since it did still work ok, and I had been quoted $200-300 to fix it. Pioneer Transmission on Waterloo Ave, Guelph, came up with a solution and did a great job fixing it up for only $75!! If you're looking for a place to go for the same issue as me, or some other transmission issue, you should definitely give them a call - 519-837-2599. John Gaddye JDGBookkeeping.ca

After having it for a little over two week the transmission went out.
