However, when I visited the Sooner location today, I requested my usual economy oil change, and the employee at the counter informed me that he could not apply the military discount because I wasn't purchasing full synthetic oil. When I mentioned I had a $20 off coupon from Take 5's email/text promotions, he stepped away to speak with another worker and returned saying he could, in fact, apply the 25% military discount after all. That discount only amounted to about $13 off the economy service. I thought it was a snake move to all of a sudden apply my $13 discount over the $20 I had when they just told me they couldn't do so because of not purchasing higher priced oil. While servicing my car, the worker pulled out my air filter and -- despite it being windy -- brushed it off with his fingers right next to my driver's side window, blowing dust directly into my car and into my face. That was careless and frustrating. What's even more disappointing is that Take 5 prominently advertises with a huge yellow banner a 25% discount for veterans and active-duty military, yet only discloses once you're already in line that it "only applies to full synthetic oil." That feels misleading and dishonest. Now for the crappiest thing that happened. After going there, my car is making a loud rattling noise that it's never made before. I think they really jacked something up and I completely regret going here. DO NOT GO HERE!! Overall, this location took longer than usual, the staff wasn't particularly friendly, and the experience left me frustrated. I do not recommend this Take 5 location. If you want better service and honesty, go to Express Oil Change on 19th St. in Moore -- they're efficient, professional, and provide complimentary checks on lights, blinkers, and other essentials unlike this Take 5 location.

I come to take the oil filter off and everyone knows you lube the rubber seal so it will come off easy next time you change it. It also only needs to be hand tight.
