I have still not received any return communication other than the shamefully useless and generic response noted in the comment to this post. I have called almost every day to communicate the urgency and the bill to fix the car just up to this point is about $3k. Still waiting for the district manager to return the call. How stupid people can be is what amazes me. Who the hell thinks an oil change can be done in 5-10 minutes? It takes a good 20 minutes just to properly drain the old oil. What they're really doing is letting it drain for a minute or two, leaving a good portion of the old oil still in there. You end up with less oil than you should and a mix of old and new. That's not a proper oil change. Don't be naive--these places don't make much money on oil changes. They rush the job so they can upsell you on things you don't even need. It's 2026. We have unlimited information at our fingertips, yet people still don't do basic research. Stop falling for this nonsense and educate yourself before becoming a victim of these big companies. read more

I had my oil changed at Take 5 about a month ago. I found out very recently that the filter was installed improperly and my vehicle has been leaking oil for the last month. "Check oil" light comes on, I checked the stick and the vehicle is completely dry. The underside of the vehicle is covered in oil and upon further inspection...I found while the vehicle is running oil is spilling out of the filter where it screws onto the post. I guess this is what happens when you deny them a filter sale. I came in for a oil change. I was greeted by Jaylen offering water and chalking my window with services I requested. Gabe came later to ask if I needed water as well. The wait was pleasant because the ole school MUSIC was relaxing and helped me keep my mind off the waiting. It was not that bad, perhaps 20-25 minutes. I was directed while driving forward to make sure I was in alignment with the hole in the floor by Brooklyn. He also showed me my oil stick to verify I had sufficient oil, and showed my my filter in my glove compartment while letting me know I was good for now. Aaron took care of changing my oil and cleaning the chalk off. Jaylen showed me my other filter, and upsold me on a replacement. I used my 50% OFF COUPON and was absolutely pleased with those 3 gentlemen and the efficient service. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this place. I have been coming here for my oil change since moving into the area three years ago. It doesn't matter when I role up, whoever comes to my rescue is always nice and pleasant. They even offer you a bottle of water to drink while you wait. I've never actually timed them, but I'm never there for too long. They will suggest additional services if they feel your car needs them, however, they DO NOT push it. This is one thing that I like. I've had experiences at other places where I think I'm about to spend about $80 on an oil change and leave having spent well over $100 for other things.Yes, it was partially my fault for allowing it to happen, but I never want to be stranded on the side of the road because I was being stubborn.
