If I could give this negative stars, I would. My boyfriend has a membership at this car wash & goes multiple times a month. It was great for him until they altered their hours & now they close at 6p. He doesn't even get off of work until 5p & works 45 mins- 1 hour away which leaves only the weekends for him to utilize his membership. That sucks but that's not the worst part. Over 2 MONTHS ago now, this car wash took his driver side mirror off. He did the proper protocol - told the staff, they took down his info & said that someone would call him in 2 days. No call. He has called multiple times since then & regiven his info to them in person at least 3 times. He even wrote a bad review like this one & the only response from the company that he got was "hopefully we can get a 5 star review from you next time". Let me be crystal clear - there will be no next time. Corporate needs to contact us immediately to address this issue & we know they know about the issue bc they refunded his membership fee last month They know it's messed up. We just want the money or the solution for getting the car mirror fixed so we can move on. STOP making us wait. We will not be returning to your services either way. Took my truck thru the wash. Last set of rollers hit my truck unusually hard. Immediately after, the air blowers peeled the trim off just like a peel. Not all at once but inch by inch as I traveled along the conveyor. Of course filled out the report and waited for their insurance to reply. Denied my claim because site manager said nothing was wrong with equipment; even though the video would show otherwise. $20 car wash turns into $1000 repair. I've been a customer of this location even before it was bought out by Take 5 car wash. The quality of wash and service keeps getting worse and today was my last. Today 70% of the vacuums were not working. The cleaning towels provided were dirty and still wet. The window cleaner and internal cleaning sprays are so water down they are little more than colored water. This location has three employees, all either on their phones, playing basketball and listening to music not appropriate for my children. When I pulled up the get the outside of my vehicle washed, instead the of using their brush to get the detail areas on my front and back bumper they just threw water on my windshield (that doesn't do anything) Inside the car wash I noticed many of the car wash sections were broken or not working. I no longer feel that this location can correctly clean my vehicle. It's really disappointing to see this once great location turn into a waste of money. I tried reaching out, but no information is provided to contact a manager or the corporate office. It's clear that the employees don't have pride in their work, they are not properly trained or managed. If your looking for value, your better off using the self-service car wash next door. I came in for a car wash with a moderately dirty car and paid for the $16 car wash which included tire and under carriage wash. No part of my car left clean, unfortunately. There were 2 high schoolers working there at the time and it was clear they didn't really care. I asked for a receipt and they told me they couldn't print me off one. Alright so I've had experiences with different car washes and plans over the last couple of years and have good and bad experiences with them. But I must say I tried this particular one because a) my car wash I normally use closed due to a buyout and was going thru the transition. and b) a family member uses it and always is happy with it . So here goes my review. So I got a deal for new members where they offer you the premium wash that is normally $39.99 a month for $1 ! How can you go wrong? Although it is normally $39.99 I am starting to justify the price. I am a Heavy Equipment Operator (yellow iron) and I specialize in infrastructure so in other words I get to play in the dirt all day with big toys. So my truck is always subject to dirt and dust that's why I'm always checking in at various car washes around town. But that's no here nor there the main issue at hand is the wash. Pretty good job on the wash with the premium pkg and one thing that really sticks out and that is with this particular location is,that there is little water left after going thru the dryers! Now if this was a Sunday driver I would take the time to shamee it and all that stuff but since it's my daily I don't quite put that effort that I normally would in. Nonetheless when I come out there is very little water on it so when you take off down the road to don't wind up with water spots all over when it starts to dry. Another plus is free vacuums, wet and dry floor mat machines, air blowers for those hard to reach places. And one last thing is the number of locations that are available with this particular company, I see them all over and your membership is good at all of them, but here is the kicker, the ones I have visited so far have thier pros and cons but what's nice is if you have the time you can pick which one suits you. But so far this one is my favorite for the wash but the vacuum stalls are always packed whereas another location is smaller wash and dry is not so great but vacuum stations seem pretty open. So in the end in my opinion if your like me and like to run your vehicle thru the wash like once a week the $40 isn't so bad because if your getting the works wash anyway that usually will be good for $14-17 bucks a pop anyway that will save you $40 approximately to go and grab a bite to eat or do something with that extra dough So in the end I will recommend this establishment. But I advise to check out different locations and find the one you like read more

Hours are garbage. They don't open until 8am so they are unusable in the AM. Might as well not open until noon.

The owner should have camera up front and what the kid do and don't do. I remember before the person who had the brush would scrub the front and back of the vehicle. Went to the Express here in the Northglenn area and definitely came back with a dirtier car than I started. Staff was unwelcoming and unhelpful when scanning my member tag and so I went ahead and paid for a regular wash, but one of the girls working there said that I could add on a wax and tire cleaning for a good valued price at $15 and so I agreed. The wash completely stained the emblem on my car and the color of the soap is stuck in crevices I can't clean out unless going through a wash all over again. The value wasn't worth it and it stained my white car. They couldn't even be wiped down by the complementary cloth given. First and last experience here, which I'm disappointed by as it's close by and it's other locations have never had service like this. read more

I always have issues with the vacuum it's like everyone I pull up to has no suction and I have to go through twice for my car to get clean

i have used the take 5 car wash for years on 120th in Thornton. Today may be my last. i pulled up at 9:30 and used tge member lane. An employee was sitting in a chair in the other lane. i pulled up with no one in front of me. there was no one there. i waited about a minute and an employee cones out, directs me, pushed the button and walks back in. No wiping the front or back. As i go in very little spray cones out of first set of wash. i get to the vacuums. The first one has no suction, the next one the nozzle pulls away from the hose. Awful first experience. 0/5 Marlon was the rudest person I've ever encountered at a car wash. It was my first time at this location as I just moved to the area and have never been to a Take 5 Car Wash. I accidentally drove past where I was supposed to pay because there were no signs with directions. When Marlon came to my car he had a rude attitude for no reason. I explained to him that it was my first time there and that I did not see him. He continued to have an attitude when taking my payment and didn't even say a single word. Not a hello, have a good day, or sorry for the confusion. Just an impolite, unreasonable attitude. Then he went over to the two gentlemen who do the initial soap up and he was talking about me in a way that is completely unacceptable. They were laughing and I could hear everything that they were saying. The only "positive" thing that happened was one of the gentlemen who soaped my car at least said "have a nice day". I'd highly suggest having better signage and definitely better customer service. Marlon should not be interacting with customers if he is going to be rude and have an attitude. Confusion happens and there is not need to treat people poorly when they make a genuine mistake. There is a sign stating they are not responsible for aftermarket accessories, which I understand, although I've never had a car wash take off a window deflector until this one did. Purchased a gift certificate online for a wash package as a Christmas gift to a friend who lives in the area. Though my credit card was charged in full, my friend or I never received the certificate. I tried calling, using their online portal and emailing the company multiple times but no response was ever received. It was not until I filled a complaint with the BBB until I received a response. They seem unsympathetic and instead of owning the service breakdown, blame it on being busy because of the holiday. Terrible customer service if you can even call it that. I asked for a refund and they would not even do that. Was shopping nearby, and realized how dirty my car was, so I decided to stop here to get my car washed. When I pulled up, there was a bit of a line, but it moved in no time so that wasn't an issue. There are a variety of car wash levels, so you can spend as little or as much as you want to get your car cleaned. Once you have gone through the car wash, they have a bunch of free vacuums that you can use to clean your interior. Another cool thing they have is a machine that cleans floor matts that is free. I thought this was a good value, and I liked all the additional free car cleaning options. Been a frustrated customer for a couple years. I have 3 vehicles that are subscribed to this wash, until today. I went through the wash in Broomfield on 2 days ago and the overhead brush wasn't working, as it seems to be broken about 70% of the time. Today I took another shot and guess what.....the overhead brush was not getting the car in front of me nor my car again. So I decided to go through again and let them know they needed to reset the brush (which one of their employees did in the past and that fixed the issue).....this time the "Assistant Manager" told me it was because my car had a roof rack on it...I asked him why the car in front of me didn't work either and he basically told me to pound sand. So there you have it. 3 annual subscriptions CANCELLED. **BUYER BEWARE** They could care less for anything other than charging your credit card monthly. read more

The scrubber guy didn't hit the back on the way in and it shows. After I got to work, I realized how incredibly filthy the back was compared to the rest of car. I worked late and didn't have time to go back that day but when I went back the next day, the rude girl refused to redo the wash. I tried to explain and asked to her look at how bad theit was compared to the rest of the car and she wouldn't even look and had a snarky attitude. I called management and I'm hopeful that if they care about customers they'll reply and fix it. If so, I'll repost. If not, I'll make sure to hit the Broomfield location from now on. You shouldn't have to get out of your car and inspect it right then and there to make sure it is clean. I expect them to do it right the first time! You would think with so many bad reviews someone with some authority would do something. I have complained three times before this that 90% plus of the time the equipment is broken, both vacuums and the carwash. Today for example the high pressure jets that wash the sides of the car when you first enter were not working at all. Normally 50% of these jets work, rarely 100%. I am about to switch to the new carwash at 120th and Grant. The monthly price is the same and the two times I've been there the equipment is all working properly. read more

My experience with this company is terrible and now that I have read other reviews here I believe these people are crooked. In Oct I drove in for a car wash and the attendant told me they were running a special. My carwash would be .99 and I could come back again for free for 30 days. I questioned him thoroughly about it because I wanted to be sure I understood what he was telling me. I bought the carwash for .99 and got my receipt like normal. In Nov there was a withdrawal from my account from this company for $39.99. I called and got my money back and asked not to be charged again. He said it would not happen again. The manager, BRANDON, now refuses to have my car fixed. I cancelled 2 monthly membership for $35/month=$840, that they will no longer be getting from me because of this incident. BRANDON, extremely rude when I took my vehicle back for inspection! How does this not get fixed! DO NOT get your vehicles washed here. They're not the only game in town. Cancel your wash memberships. My family has already stopped there membership at corresponding locations around town. The count: 16 membership cancellations so far and counting, you do the math! It was our first time here. We pulled up, and the worker had the most disgusted face ever. We couldn't understand her because she was mumbling and wouldn't repeat herself, so she took matters in her hands. As she was placing a plastic bag over the wind shield wiper, she had the most disgusting facial expression because of how dirty the car was. We were getting a car wash for a reason???? Secondly, when the car was done and all "cleaned up", we went out to remove that plastic bag she placed over and boy was the car still filthy. Express Car Wash was awesome (wash and staff) but then "Take 5" took over and everything went down hill. The equipment at the Northglenn CO location is never working properly. The power spray only works at 50% and the brushes (there are 6) typically only have 3 working. I sent an email to the company and the response was that a new regional manager was taking over and they should fix everything. Nothing has changed and the staff there really don't care about anything. They rarely put any effort into doing a pre-brush of the front of the car or back which never gets cleaned properly. We miss Express wash and the staff that used to work there. I agree with Patrick S. Lots of bad reviews and nothing has changed. "Take 5" installed a lot of cute signage but lost sight of what the customers loved about Express Wash - reliable equipment, great customer service and hard working friendly Team Members. Have used the place for a few years with the last two being a monthly pass holder. I wash my car a couple times a week and live that they are always open. The car wash itself is heated so even when it's cold you can still expect them to be open. The dryers leave a little to be desired but a quick dry with a towel and the car looks great. read more

I would reconsider going to this car wash. I purchased the year pass. For a while things were going good. Then I recently started noticing really bad scratches showing up in my paint. I would wax it and the marks would go away. Then I noticed a pattern. After going through this car wash they would show up again and again. This last visit was my last visit. I took my vehicle through their wash and that day notice some large swirl damages to the paint. It was about a foot long and a quart to half an inch thick and went through the clear coat. This was definitely damage done by the spinners. I brought it to the attention of the general manager the very next day. The customer service was nonexistent from the start. I shouldn't even have showed up by the way they treated me. I showed them the damage and filled out a report. They used a rubbing compound and was able to remove some of the scuffs. Side note, they never asked permission to use the rubbing compound on my vehicle. I didn't notice until after I filled the report out. Then, the GM came out and said it was a car ding which wouldn't have made such a large scratch. They went on and on and on about how their wash never damages cars. Which is funny because I filled out a damage form that they had pre-printed. I don't feel like I should have to use rubbing compound after going through a car wash every time. Now to resolving this issue. All I asked for was 6-month refund on my year pass because I would not be coming back due to the damage of my vehicle. That comes out to $125. They said that I used "x" amount of washes so my refund would be $22 and some change. I didn't by "x" amount of car washes; I bought the unlimited pass. I don't think I was being unreasonable. I wasn't looking for a new paint job or a free wax. All I wanted was my money back for the 6-months I paid for that I won't be using. They said I signed the receipt that stated no refunds of which I stated I didn't sign for them to damage my vehicle either. I used to go to Mike's, but now go here because the line flows really fast, and I vacuum it myself with the strong vacuums and am in and out of here quick, compared to waiting and waiting for the other place to get around to vacuuming my car. I did have to take off a star just because I did get stuck in the car wash once and it took about 10 minutes until they came and let me know there was no way to resolve it at the time.
