Having never been to a custom car cleaning, place other than a really custom care hand wash hand…read moredry and polish place in Houston. these people did an extraordinary job on vacuuming in every conceivable crack between seats, glove box, center console area, all around and under floor mats. Took them out of the car and used a small brush to clean them very thoroughly. I had phoned and said I wanted a custom car wash (my car had been out in the country and the grasses died all around our home and covered parking areas and there was dried grass and dust everywhere. It was a brand new low mileage car which had been cuddled in the Toyota receiving docks. I had a couple of paint scrapes and dings on my car from people hitting me in the H-E-B grocery store parking lot in Brenham which I asked them to address and they did they did have a contact with a dent man (who was not available on short notice) and I will go back to see him. I didn't really know how specific I needed to be and they were very very busy with cars to be done and I had made an appointment for 1:00 p.m.It was on Iast Friday afternoon and it was they did a great job. Dispite the long waiting line; They had a comfortable place for me to sit inside and look over my work and look over My downfall was I don't believe I actually told them what my exact focus points were; I should've made a concise list of all the things I wanted to have addressed when I made my appointment the day before, because that's what I was expecting when I got this "fantastic customer service, complete car cleaning." That's essentially what I got, but there were some places that they missed; I pointed them out upon their requested inspection inspection. (One of the last they things they did was spray the inside of the truckbed but they didn't dry it so I asked when I looked the finished car because I knew that once I drove off the wind would blow off sprays of water bubbles out of the back and onto the sides of the car. There were a few dust scrapes on the doors on the inside where things had been moved in and out. I wasn't there when he was cleaning inside but he didn't address some scrapes where I'd gotten some things in and out of the car and I pointed those out to him because I wanted those cleaned off too. (The car was brand new and it'd been a heckuva summer - our covered and roofed area on the side of our barn with the wind and heat was not a sealed area. Anyway, in general I'd have to say it was a great place and I hope to return . It was pretty darned pricey but well worth it to make m it car look nice and new again. The Owners were very nice and cordial, and schooled and Certified in "car-detailing". If you want a first class job, this is it. ( Don't forget your detail list.) Sincerely, Ginny Welch

It is one of the smallest Buc-ee's, but large enough to have all the snacks available for your trip. Needless to say, the whole establishment is spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly. Buc-ee's in Waller is an experience all by itself. We stopped during a family road trip and, as…read moreexpected, this place delivers on just about everything. First, the store is massive and absolutely packed with merchandise. Buc-ee's shirts, hats, mugs, souvenirs, home goods, snacks, candy, sauces, you can wander around for quite a while and still feel like you missed something. The merchandising is almost as entertaining as the stop itself. Then there's the food. The hot sandwich area was working overtime, with brisket sandwiches, pulled pork, sausage, breakfast options and plenty of grab-and-go choices. Everything moves quickly, the food is hot, and there are enough options that everyone can find something they want. Add in the jerky counter, bakery items, fudge, roasted nuts, fountain drinks and snacks, and you've basically got road-trip heaven. The place was busy, but it's organized, clean and surprisingly efficient considering the number of people coming through. Buc-ee's somehow turns a gas stop into part convenience store, part restaurant, part gift shop and part tourist attraction.

Tunnel review: the tunnel use to be great (maybe 5 years ago) but the owner cleaner has let it age…read morewithout maintenance. Half the sprayers don't fully spray the car and you have no idea which wash you're actually getting since nothing lights up in the tunnel to indicate what is being applied. I doubt the brushes have been cleaned or replaced. MUCH better tunnel washes out there for the money that also do a better job of drying. Detailing service: this is where the value of this place is. They do a good job for the money of detailing interior wise but ARE NOT pros. Don't expect high levels of detail here, they seem to use the same product on everything from dash to seat. There not rotating a leather cleaner to dash cleaner so everything ends up clean but not necessarily correct. For the money they ask you can't argue with the service, you'll need to point out specific things you want attention to. DIY Bays: the DIY bays are great and have never eaten my cash and again for the value offer a great selection of products. Overall this is a 3/5 star place. I can't imagine bringing a high end luxury car here. But for your daily driver it should do the trick.

UPDATE 10/10: I went there this morning. Barely any soap. Again she came and sprayed it for a…read morewhile, after watching me do it. Like f she sprayed it, soap would come out for her. After spraying it for a while, still no more soap. Then she proceeds to tell me "that is how it is now". "Just a little bit of soap". Her words exactly. I talked to two people washing their car and they didn't even realize it because they saw a few suds. So apparently they put just enough soap in to make it look like there is soap but it's not enough to do anything. Should be called CAR RINSE. I've been coming here for about 3 years because I prefer a DIY car wash, and unfortunately there aren't any other options like this in The Woodlands. I really WANT to like this place. But the ongoing equipment problems have gotten ridiculous. It's $8 for 10 minutes. The problem is that I have lost count of how many times I've paid, started washing, and gotten little to NO soap. And I don't mean one bad bay once in a while. This happens repeatedly. Every time I get an employee, they come out and test the system themselves like when they do it, soap will come out. They spray the wand, check it, go back and add soap or do whatever they need to do, and eventually it works. They do give me the lost time back, which I appreciate, but they only add it back 5 minutes at a time. I have to stop and go find someone twice just to get the 10 minutes I paid for. At that point, I've spent more time dealing with the car wash than actually washing my car. Sometimes I've had to switch bays and pay another $8 just to find one with soap. I've also had a card reader not work, forcing me to switch bays again. So therefore I paid $16 for a little bit of soap for 10 minutes. The switching bays has also caused an actual problem with my wheels. I use a tire/rim cleaner during the wash, and on one visit there was no soap, so I had to switch bays. The rim cleaner was left sitting on the wheels while I was dealing with the equipment and changing bays, and it ended up damaging the finish on my rims. That was especially frustrating because I shouldn't have to worry about damaging my car while trying to get the equipment to work. I go on Saturday mornings, and I have a schedule to keep since I only have Saturdays to get everything done. I don't have time to spend half my car wash hunting down employees because the equipment isn't working. And here's the kicker: the last time this happened, I was admittedly pretty frustrated and finally lost my patience. The employee went into the mechanical room and within seconds there was suddenly TONS of soap. Like... apparently the soap was in there somewhere. The vacuums aren't great either. I was wasting another $4 every time I used them and finally bought my own vacuum because it was getting ridiculous. I don't blame the employees. They are usually trying to help while also dealing with a busy drive-through car wash. I would happily keep coming here. I like DIY car washes, I like being able to take my time, and there really isn't another one nearby. But when I pay $8 for 10 minutes, I expect to actually get soap for those 10 minutes--not spend half my time tracking someone down to make the equipment work. I've contacted them through their number online with no response. So if you're coming here, just know what you may be getting yourself into. You might get a great wash, or you might spend your Saturday morning chasing down employees, changing bays, waiting for soap, paying for extra time, and hoping your car doesn't pay the price for equipment problems.
