I am going to try and be nice! I have been to the car wash probably 20 times, never once has my truck ever been clean. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have ran my truck through a second time 75% of the time because I complained.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I asked if they could just spray the truck off before it went through and they said that they were not allowed to do that. They basically told me that as good as it can get. There was still dirt and mud on my runningboards and the brushes that go down the side of the truck did not take all of the dirt off the side of the truck. just trying to give everybody a heads up if you're looking for a great car wash this is not the place. It's spent $17 on a car wash and had to go through twice and it was still not clean but was told that's as good as it gets. I will never ever ever ever go back to this car wash again. Do not waste your money or risk your vehicle. I have used car wash facilities such as this one for over 25 years. This is the worst, and not simply by degree. The person pre-washing your vehicle only makes a meaningful effort IF you tip first. How do I know? I watched and asked why, as a monthly subscriber to the top wash package, did a person in front of me get better pre-washing? "Because he tipped me first!" was his response. Tipping in order to get good service, not FOR good service. Second, the car wash itself is atrocious. The vehicle is never clean. Either the soap is uneven or the rinse is uneven. My vehicle comes out with soap still on the left side. The 'push' out of the tunnel does not work properly. A suburban in front of me could not get out and the conveyor literally pushed my vehicle into hers as she tried to get out of the tunnel. When I told one of the workers about it so it could be fixed, he said the chain 'was as tight as we can get it' as he shrugged, blamed the person in front of me, and walked off. The internal equipment is never adjusted correctly, unnecessarily beating your car to death -- left marks on my vehicle. The suction on the vacuums is weak -- do they ever clean them out? The hoses fall off randomly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The workers don't care about your experience there, the equipment is either poorly maintained or not maintained -- either way it does not work properly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I cannot think of another company that could not care less about how it is viewed by customers. If I could give 0 stars I would. $27 for a car wash that doesn't even clean your car at all. Not to mention [[HIGHLIGHT]]the workers just sit in the little room and you have to wait for them to come out to direct you[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], they barely scrub the front of your car before it actually goes in the wash. I just think it's ridiculous to pay that amount for terrible service and a car wash that barely works. read more

As the staff that works at the entrance of the car wash is nice, the quality of the wash itself is horrible. My vehicle is never dry and there is always soap all over my windows still. Also, the tracks to keep your vehicle in the wash moves so you are constantly moving side to side. In this area I would recommend going to a coin operated spray wash before going to this one. read more

I want to love it but this place has LOTS of problems. Let's make a list. (And yes I have complained to corporate.) - Kiosk is not working properly. I have the top tier membership, and when I scan my phone, the kiosk asks me if I want a membership. I have to select single wash, as if I'm paying by card, then it shows two screens at once, overlayed--one telling me I have an empty "balance" and the other saying, would you like a receipt? The latter is the only screen that should show when I scan my phone. - Overhead brush has been out of order for MONTHS. So the front, back, top, hood, trunk of your car won't get properly brushed, or brushed at all. The guys with the hand brush aren't scrubbing the front, so you will just have the same bugs on front when you exit that you had when you entered. - They used to spray down the car with a power washer/soaker, but they have not done that the last few times I've been there, maybe they stopped. This is before you enter the automated wash. - In the wash, the lights to tell you what add ons you are getting are gone, so, no idea if I'm getting what is advertized for my membership tier. - Definitely not getting the advertised armor all tire treatment. My tires look untouched after the wash. - When you get to the end, the dryer light does not work. Instead, as soon as you enter the dryer, while your car is still stuck in the conveyor, the exit light comes on telling you to go when you definitely should not. - Employees park in some of the vacuum stalls, right next to the top tier membership stations for rags and cleaners. So you have to park far away and walk if one of the two stations is full. - Of the cleaning bottles, some are broken and most are near empty. - The towels will be wet because of the humidity, but one I picked up was full of debris, that would scratch my paint, like little sticks and grass spurs, and another was soapy--I picked it up from the folded stack and used it to dust my dash, and it left suds behind. I had used no cleaners. Brenham has other car washes. At least two are out of business, the IQ one will damage your car and is overpriced, but they are building a new one on the NE side, so hopefully this will be decent. I wish Take 5 Brenham would just get it together. If they would fix the above issues, esp the function of the wash itself, it would be better. It was better. Also, pick up the trash. I know it isn't your fault we have to share this lovely place with trashy people, but a person pulled up next to me in a janky car and it reeked of weed. And on the ground are coathangers and other trash from people's cars. read more

I have only used this car wash 4 times. Each time I hope my car will be clean when I get through but it never is. I was hoping to by a membership but just couldn't do it. The other day after seeing the back of my car was still dirty I asked another customer and was told you have to tell to scrub the back of your car. I went through a second time and this time there were 2 guys and they did scrub the back. Today there was one guy scrubbing front and back but still the back is dirty. The car wash itself just does not do a great job. The employees are nice though. read more

I went there for their pro5 car wash. The car came out with scratches all over my car and damaged the clear coat on the trunk hood.

Damaged my paint horribly and cannot get anyone on the phone. Vehicle is newer and doesn't have a single paint chip. Now there are circular scratches on my hood and top of my car. read more

Surprised to see negative reviews all at the top. We have the Premium car wash membership and it's excellent! Unlimited washes, usually two people scrubbing the front and back before the wash, and great results after the car is washed. Good vacuum also. Highly recommend. read more

First of all, they expired my account even though the debit card to which it was attached had NOT expired. This resulted in my having to purchase a NEW plan that cost, you guessed it $4.99 (not quite a Take $5) more. The "manager" on duty was extremely impolite and had quite the attitude. Just a terrible display of customer service. I ended up signing up for a new unlimited plan because I want the service and the managers there turn over pretty quick so hopefully I won't be dealing with him again. It went something like this: The greeting I received: "Yeah" I needed to find out why my FastPass was no longer working. "I don't know! Must be expired. Surprising how those credit cards do that you know -- expire like that." I did not use a credit card. I had used my debit card and it had not expired. He pulled up my account using my name and remarked that it was showing as expired. Again, my card had NOT expired which means that they expired my ACCOUNT with THEM so that I would be forced to upgrade. I inquired as to how to proceed and he said that I had to start all over again with a new program. In fact, he said "that's how my company screws you," amongst a few other things. I told him that I indeed felt "screwed" especially since the prewash that is done by hand is usually handled by one person who only prewashes ONE side of my vehicle. He then went into a tirade about whether or not I was willing to pay for him to have a second worker out there to wash the other side. In fact he went so far as to say "Otherwise, I have to come in from out there to take care of people like you". We discussed the fact the I pay for a service that includes prewash, the actual car wash, and vacuums. He informed me that the prewash and vacuums are not part of the service and are complimentary so he is not obligated to provide either of them. At that point, I just redirected the conversation back to my initial reason and asked him to please process my request for a new monthly plan. He obliged and I had to start all over and fill out all new paperwork even though I was clearly already in the system as he had read off all of the details about my vehicle earlier in the conversation. This was a colossal cluster and some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The owners should be ashamed of having employees of this caliber. read more

I have had a membership since this place opened. For the last 8 to 6 months this place is terrible. I always have to go into the office to get them to raise the arm to get in and do my car wash. I wasted a couple hours getting new memberships after new membership and another new membership. The car wash as far as doing a good car wash is good. But I can't get in there to use my membership. Today I told him I didn't have time to go through the office but he took me in there anyway and finally got the gate open which took a while and then when I was supposed to go into the car wash he put me on hold to sit there for about five minutes. read more

My wife asked me to give them another shot....and MORE incompetence shined right through ! 1. I called and left a message 2 Sundays ago in the afternoon for the owner or manager to call me back. Monday passed and no call back. So I called the next day , Tuesday mid morning. Somebody called me back shortly afterwards and told me my tag was fixed. 2. I went by today , STILL tag is not working. Here comes attempt number 12 or13 to get this straight. Nobody is in line while this is going on and now 4 more cars pass me in other lane. Which means AGAIN I went from a 5 to 10 minute stop to 20 or 25 minutes as I'm 4th or more in line., so I would AGAIN have to wait for them to open the gate. NOPE , won't open gate again , so they take my sticker for at least the 10th or more times with my sticker pass back to the office . The employee came out and asked me , " where did you get this sticker " ? My response , a lady gave it to me when my tags did not work. Then another sticker hand held did not work , so they gave me yet another sticker , ( 3rd pass attempt ) ! He said he needed my CREDIT CARD , which they have done about 7 times . I told him NOPE , I'm done , backed up and he pulled some cones out of the way and I'm gone. WILL CANCEL this today ! Bare bones minimum , they should open the gate , tell the customer we need your pass and try to fix as their car is washed, and tell the customer to pull into vacuum spot so they can fix, that way they don't lose their place in line ( that would be smart ) This may be the worst run business I have ever seen ! read more

A big shout out to Torrance at Car Wash USA Express in Brenham, Texas. I arrived at 6:35 p.m after a 10 hour road trip from Destin, Florida. He brushed the front and back without asking! The car wash did an excellent job removing the road grime. The vacuums nearest the building were off because they were closing but when I asked - Torrance - turned them back on so I didn't have to move my car.
