It tasted a bit old...I think that's the best way to describe it. We had the mint tea, hummus, and lamb for lunch. It came to about 30ish euros which was a little high for how much we had been paying for lunch during our trip (typically 20ish). The mint tea was delicious and I highly recommend it. The hummus was good too! The owner was super nice and had an interesting sense of humor. I'd come back for the mint tea and the company!

You know I gotta check it out. Here is my verdict - mediocre. We ordered three dishes: Nan aka bread with humus. Bread is pre-made. The owner heated it up with a microwave. It tasted like cardboard. This is not the fresh, fluffy nan that I expected. Lamb couscous - Mushy couscous!!! Like what the hell?? The flavor is good but it's a bit too sweet. Meatball Tajine- it's okay. Nothing special. Mint tea - As good as I remember, but again a bit sweeter than I thought. Would I recommend it? If you haven't tried Moroccan food, sure, order the mint tea and give it a try. If you are looking for delicious Moroccan food, you better look somewhere else.

Had the 12,50€ dinner that included appetizer, main and Morrocan mint tea with dessert. Daughter split with me and also had a milkshake. Falafel was spot on being moist and flavorful. Second course of chicken tagine had vegetables but no couscous. Veggies were a bit over cooked but chicken was falling off the bone. Mint tea was fresh and sweet. Loved the ambiance and the music! Discovered a couple of new artists that went straight into my Spotify playlist. You get a view of the pedestrian walkway below. Our waiter I discovered spoke French which was a relief since my Spanish is not so great. He actually spoke five languages: Spanish, Arabic, French, English and Berber.

I ordered the house mint lemonade- which was heavenly, so surprisingly sweet and refreshing (I am now addicted). We also ordered a small platter of assorted Moroccan pastries. These were delicate and crispy, drizzled with honey and garnished with whole almonds, filled with nuts and cinnamon and spices, in such different shapes and varieties. These morsels are simple looking, but every last crumb is sweet and delicious.

Decided to hang out and see the Alhambra lit up in the night and wanted to kill sometime in the meanwhile. This place looked gorgeous with the outdoor seating and the beautiful bougainvillea trees and we decided to hang out on a whim. Inside of the restaurant has a very Moroccan feel and is very elaborately decorated .The person who was helping us told us after we sat down that they won't serve food as they were fasting but we can get beverages which worked out perfect for us because that's all we wanted . There is a huge tea selection and we settled on one (cant recall the name now ) . It came in cute teapots and tasted delicious. If you like us take your tea sugarless I will highly recommend sweetening it here , it tasted so much better . The service was friendly, but they do overcharge. I am assuming the prices are steep because of the prime location

For the amount you pay, you get a LOT of food. Arabic Bread: Less than €2 for a huge basket of freshly baked bread. It was fluffy inside, crispy on the outside, and had a sour tang to it. This was definitely my favorite part of the meal. Eggplant Salad: cooked in spices like cumin and garlic, the eggplant was succulent but not sloppy. I really enjoyed eating this with my bread. Chicken Cous Cous with Caramelized Onions and Raisins: absolutely delicious. It wasn't overly sweet, and the almonds were the perfect nutty flavor to pair with it. I loved that it came in a clay pot that kept it super hot. The chicken was so tender it fell right off the bone. Though the chicken tasted a little old, the rest of the flavors made up for it. Lamb with Plums: the lamb I thought was a little dry, but we got many large chunks of lamb. Anywhere else this dish would cost €6 or 7 more. The dried plums soaked up a lot of the sauce and added some moisture to the dish. Again, very nicely balanced flavors. Zumo de kiwi, naranja, etc: Nothing special, but I did appreciate it was freshly made with the pulp still in it.
