DON'T GO HERE. The food was ok, nothing amazing, nothing horrible. The problem was something else. We got there and sat down--we were the only customers in the restaurant. We ordered (they did not, for some reason, serve meat skewers at that time, so we had to order something else more expensive). We ate our food and then asked for the check. I told him I was paying by credit card. He said no. He said their card machine was broken. I said I don't carry cash. He said then we have a problem. I said yes we obviously do.
Clearly he knew his card machine was broken when we walked in the door BUT NEGLECTED TO TELL US THIS up front. Nor did he tell us at any point when we were there eating our food. How can you run a restaurant and not accept a credit card, especially in a high tourist area?! He insisted I go to a bank machine and withdraw money. Funny thing is, I normally don't carry a card that I can use in the ATM, but this day I had one. Luckily for him we are honest people and came back with the cash payment. (To add insult to injury, later when we got home we discovered that he did not even put all of our leftover food in the take-home box for us). :(
We just moved to a Granada and I love Moroccan food, but I WILL NOT EVER BE BACK TO THE RESTAURANT, nor will I recommend them to anyone. They have lost a potential lifetime customer. read more
