Those two workers were exceptional at their jobs. For the most part the current staff is rough around the edges but nice. However, I shouldn't need the cook asking me to explain the difference between an egg over easy and an egg over medium. The grilled chicken is no longer moist and juicy. Forget the days when the server cared to ask if I want my bacon crispy and wonderful or soft and flacid when I forget to say. Nope, just bark out "soft" to the cook instead of walking back over to ask me. Forget the days when I can get a coffee refill without a struggle and now I need to request creamer over and over. There is too much of servers huddling in gossip and too much of servers hanging out watching the cook, seemingly spellbound. Sadly, my treasured Waffle House is no more. Now it has joined mediocrity.

I ordered the pork tenderloin today and this is now the third time we got home, took the first bite, and it was so full of black pepper that it was completely inedible. It went straight into the trash and was a complete waste of money. Once, maybe twice, I could understand an off day. But this is now the third time there has been WAY too much pepper in the pork tenderloin. Does no one taste this before it's sold? Whoever is making it is putting way too much black pepper in it. When this place is good, it's really good. Unfortunately, the quality control is nowhere to be found so you never know if it's going to be a good day or a bad one.
