Went in this week as I haven't been to a Texas Roadhouse in quite a while. We were seated pretty quickly after being on the waitlist for about 35 minutes. It is Texas Roadhouse so the layouts are all the same inside. It was busy as usual for dinner service. Service was lacking to say the least. Our server said that our order was ready but that they hadn't brought it up yet to be plated and she didn't know why. She said this twice. Ok, so why not ask the kitchen what is going on back there so that you at least have an answer for your guests? When the food did arrive it was lukewarm at best, not hot by any means. One guest steak was overcooked to medium when she asked for medium rare. Hopefully it was just an off night as I normally enjoy the Reno, NV location. The food is great Destiny is a great bartender: the other bartender girl needs to probably learn to bartend though as her pours were quite short. I ordered a Grand Marnier for after dinner and it was wildly under poured. It was probably 3/4-1oz pour where 1 1/2 oz is the standard shot. Especially at $8.50 for a single shot. The food was very good steak was great. Sweet potato was quite tasty. The rattlesnake bites were fantastic. So all in all they need to learn the measurements for bar drinks but good place and would return but likely won't buy my drinks here though. read more

Worst experience ever! Anniversary dinner for our 25th. At first they tried to seat us at a tiny table maybe big enough for one person. I asked for a larger table so they seated us in the bar right next to the kitchen. Worst table in the house. I guess they showed me. Secondly, I watched the cook continuously cross contaminate everything he touched. He was using the same gloves the entire time we were there and putting raw chicken and beef on the grill by hand, wiping his gloves on the same nasty rag and then proceeding to touch the cooked food. Complained to management about cross contamination and the results were, "We'll talk to him". Meanwhile, my appetite is gone because of the downright nastiness in the kitchen out in the open. I used to be a fan of Texas Roadhouse but not anymore. We were seated and our order was taken promptly only to be greeted by a huge water bug/roach crawling on the wall right where I was seated. I alerted the waitress and we were moved to another area while they attempted to capture it. After an extended wait my medium-well filet came out dry and lukewarm, the potato was so cold the cheese wouldn't even melt. The steak was remade and this time came out WELL DONE overdone actually, and the manager still asked me if it was okay. No it's not okay!! This has always been our favorite go to place in the past, but noticed it has been going downhill lately. Saturday, January 3rd, 2026 was the last straw. We were there to celebrate a birthday. Our name was put on the wait list at 4:00. By 5:15, no response. We finally went in to check and they said it would be about 15 more minutes. Still no response. We checked again and was finally told our table was ready but everyone had to be here before we could be seated. I tried explaining to the lady that everyone was here, but we were trying to surprise the 87 year old birthday lady who would be coming in as soon as we were seated, however, she refused to seat us until everyone was in the restaurant. Ok, no big deal. They had two separate tables for us which was fine, but the floors under each table was disgustingly filthy with trash, french fries and a container that holds salad dressing that was half full. We asked if they could have someone to come sweep under the tables and was given a look by the waitress as that was not her job. We finally asked for a manager who came 15 minutes or more later who acted like he didn't know what to do, so I offered to sweep myself. He finally came back and swept under one table but never apologized. I guess they don't have people to clean up anymore after patrons leave. They gave us two separate waitresses even though we were all together. The waitress at one table never showed up until about 30 minutes later. The drinks were watered down, so we asked for sweet tea and she brought unsweetened tea. The food was lukewarm. This place was extremely crowded and in total disarray with people and waitresses running into each other and trying to squeeze between tables. I'm sure this was a fire hazard. There was no organization and a total nightmare. The only improvement I can suggest at this time is that they get competent management or shut down. I strongly recommend that the department of health and the fire marshall go in and do an inspection of this place. This is a trainwreck in the making. It's always busy. Even with a call ahead or reservation it can take time to get seated. I wouldn't go there any day of the week without calling ahead. You really go there for the rolls, and if you are lucky a well cooked steak. If your unlucky like I was today you get chicken fried beef jerkey. It was tough. Like someone cooked a steak to well done then left it cooking for another 10 minutes. The mashed potatoes were good and with enough gravy parts of the steak were edible. The parking lot was packed and honestly I thought we were going to wait an hour. Fortunately the other half of my party had arrived 15 minutes earlier. Handling the flow of the table's meal perfectly. I ordered a spicy Hawaiian margarita (but it was 86- sad face) so I switched to a sangria swirl. It was good but not very strong at all. I'd almost go so far as to call it a sangria sour. $8. The onion blossom was smaller than other restaurants, which was okay with me because we ate 95% of it. No waste. Texas Roadhouse is so good you need to try this! The bread rolls are so delicious with the cinnamon butter! But sometimes the only give me 1 roll but that's okay. Those barbecue ribs are DELISH! Our waitress was very attentive and did an excellent job. There were options for people with all kinds of diets. (We don't eat beef) The food came out fast and hot! Made reservations online would only accept for 6 people, there was 7 of us. Finally got reservations said 15-25 minutes. Got there went in and was told for us to sit together it would be over an hour wait, if we would sit separately it would be 25 minutes. So disappointed. A hostess happen to bring some which we ate. When our waitress returned, she did have rolls and started to put them on the table. She saw we had a basket and pulled back and asked another waitress to take them back to the front without giving them to us. Why? Rude. Our food took 50 minutes from the time we ordered. One plate had cold shrimp (which was added to a steak plate so cost extra) and no sides with it- that took another 5-10 minutes. Another plate had cold steak. Prime rib had no au jus which we had to ask for- what? Our drinks were empty for a long time before our waitress came back. Waitress was rude about that. Wife and i went Sunday around 5 pm were seated and made our order. We got the two for deal ( steak potato salad and a cactus bloom) salad came first then our drinks then the cactus bloom then our meal. Didn't have time to eat the appetizer. I would rate this place lower than 1 star if I could. Food is great, but not only is the service horrible, specifically from Sarah Corbett, but management is also horrible. Sarah and management called the police on a mom and her daughter who isn't even 1 years old yet, who wasn't bothering anybody and just enjoying the food, and made them leave for no reason, not only that but they wouldn't allow the 11 month year old daughter take her food home. Not only are they protecting the employee Sarah, but Sarah also openly uses the N word, and is laughing about basically taking food from a BABY and her mom. Today was our first visit to Texas Roadhouse, Bossier City, in a long while. However, we will be back soon. Everything from the moment we stepped inside to the moment we left was awesome! We used the waitlist feature minimizing our wait upon arrival. Every single person from the hostesses, waitstaff, bussers, to management walking around were extremely friendly and very attentive. Was a refreshing change seeing folks enjoying their day and happy with their jobs! We ordered beverages, appetizers, and steaks with add ons. Again, everything was so, so tasty and wonderfully prepared. Kaylie was our server and she was phenomena! Employees walking by either spoke, picked up anything no longer needed, or asked if we needed anything. Today's experience was one of the best we have had, with any restaurant, hands down! read more

Just had the worst to go experience in many many years. Ordering online was easy and was the only good thing I can point to. I chose 7:45p as pick up time and my food wasn't ready until 8:15. This was no big deal to the staff. I could see parts of the meal sitting there getting cold while evidently parts of the meal were not ready. When the food was finally ready I was handed a big bag and told to "check the bag to make sure everything was there." I was already so frustrated, as was my wife who was waiting in the car, that I trusted they at least got the order right after all that time. Boy was that a mistake. I ordered a mushroom onion bbq burger and got a plain cheeseburger. The fries were cold. The burger was overcooked. My wife ordered a lemonade which was nowhere to be seen. All in all this was very poor all the way around. Timeliness, accuracy, food quality, food temp, customer service were all some of the worst I can imagine. Extremely disappointing experience. Have not been to a Texas Roadhouse in a long time. Will NEVER go again. I'm sure other locations may be better, so you good ones can blame it on this one for losing a customer and gaining someone who will speak negatively about this chain any chance I get. read more

Not good, but not bad. Was very crowded and we had to wait 2 hours to find a table. However, it was not that worth it. First thing I saw was steak sauce on the table which was not a good sign. If the steak was fully flavored, that would not be necessary. Ribs were ok. I loved the sauce but the meat, not so much. Cheese fries on the other hand, were amazing.
