My dog got Pneumonia from tail wagon ranch as well as multiple other dogs. I'm attaching some other examples of people who's pets have been put down or gotten sick from this place.

My wife and I were apprehensive about putting our dog with a pet sitter while vacationing, as she has never been away from us and wasn't socialized with other dogs other than the occasional trip to the dog park. The staff at Tail Waggin' Ranch was very welcoming and the availability of cameras really put us at ease. In one short week, they got to know Piper by name and she was good and tired at the end each day. We recommend and will definitely use again in the future.

Three times we've taken our dogs to this place. Each time, we'd asked that they be groomed and it was not done. The weekend of January 18 we dropped them off while we were out of town. One came one with kennel cough..then she began to get fat - she was pregnant. We contacted Tail Waggin Ranch several times wanting to know what unfixed males they exposed her to (which they never denied) and they said that she played with a n Australian Shepherd shepherd. Five puppies were born on March 23. Now the employees refuse to connect us to the owner,..through our polite repeated requests (and subsequent denials) the staff has become accusatory and downright rude. All we ask is for direct contact with the owner.

Just a day at the ranch. Terrible for parents to see, with nonchalant workers there to explain it was just "playing"

Wonderful place for my granddog. He loves it and is so excited when I bring him there. The staff is friendly and loves my Benson.

When our Golden, Allie, was old and sick they took very good care of her when we had to go out of town for a funeral. They made sure she had her meds on time and took her out to exercise away from younger, jumpier dogs. After she passed away, and the grieving was not so raw, we adopted a mini schnauzer from a rescue. This dog is the exact opposite of our docile Allie. He didn't have a very good life before we got him and that left him with some issues. But the staff understands and they have helped us a lot with working through those. He goes in from grooming and Leslie always does a great job with him. She 'gets' him. When we first started taking him there, I couldn't get him out of the car. He was terrified. I went inside and Wanda came out and coaxed him out of the car. Had to do that a couple times, but now he jumps out, pees on the plants and saunters in the door like he owns the joint. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

When dropping him off I told the person at the counter not to shave him totally and the girl looked at my friends account on the computer and told me that she understood because there were notes saying how to clip him. My friend came at 4:30 to pick up her dog and was told they hadn't started working on him yet! She waited 30 minutes until they were done. When they brought him out to go home it was a real chop job, the ridges from the clipper were visible from the side it was obvious that certain areas were shaved unevenly. The hair on the head and around the ears was chopped with no attention to detail. She was shocked and spoke to the owner about how awful the job was and asked for a partial refund, at least for the tip given. The owner said she would get back to her and never did. I have clipped and shaved my own dogs at home and know I could've done a better job!

From my first conversation, this decision was never met with an issue in our communications which was my reason for moving forward with training my pup with this fabulous duo. There was great communication, and lots of post regarding my Odin's progress between in person visits. My wants in training were clearly defined, discussed and implemented over his in-stay with the facility. I had some reservations with my tiny 3lb spoiled puppy with his paw lotion, eye wipes and holiday themed attire amongst giant working dogs at first; but it was shortly deemed irrelevant as he decided he was just a big dog in disguise disputing my attempts otherwise lol! I am very grateful for the leadership, knowledge and help WCDT has given myself and my pup. Taking on a new puppy was not part of my 2025, and I am very appreciative of the advice and knowledge extended with the program offered. (As well as the minor therapist sessions in listening to me talk about my dog that had recently passed; I appreciate that more than I can express.) I would 100% recommend!

I was referred to Wild Child from our local PetSmart. I inquired through email for their Stay and Train program as I wanted my dog to be boarded but also not forget his training or pick up bad habits. My dog stayed here for 5 days. I obsessively stalked their Instagram for updates as they post cute videos of my dog once a day. I can tell he was well taken care of and so happy to be there. Upon pickup, I felt like my dog was a new boy! They worked on him with door manners and he doesn't bolt out the door. My other concern was jumping on people. We passed by a man and my dog actually sat down right in front of him and got lots of pets! I was so impressed!! My dog also seemed more relaxed. He was a hyper furball who needed to be up and running 24/7 before I dropped him off at Wild Child. Now he's okay with laying down and chilling. He is also fine with taking naps in his crate now! He used to bark for hours on end when I crate him during the day. I can't wait to take him back. My dog seemed very sad to leave this facility and I'm sure he would be so thrilled to return. Thank you for taking great care of my furbaby.
