    Eel Avocado Burrito
    Olga H.

Cute Japanese spot with boba. Order at the kiosk or at the counter and your food is brought to you. I was a little hesitant to order the ramen because I did not want to take a chance at being disappointed on my first try. I stuck to the giant burritos, which is essentially a jumbo sushi roll that has not been sliced up. I got the dragon and my son had the eel avocado and they were both tasty. Enough food so you don't feel like you ate too much. I tried the zang zang taro boba. It does not come with tapioca, but you can add it for a $1. I did not care for it, but my adult son enjoyed it. It was very different from my expectations. Its like a taro concentrate pulp mixed in with the milk. I also got the chocolate zang zang for the younger one and he said he preferred it to Kung Fu Tea, so there's that. Anyway, service was great and they are so nice there.

    Chabely I.

Really loved this place. Great variety of drinks and food. Lots of sushi burrito options and friendly atmosphere.

Their service is amazing always, they are very attentive and make sure to make their customers feel welcome and appreciated. Food here is always delicious and made to perfection!! Definitely a must to try different appetizers, their soup dumplings are to die for!!! Definitely recommend, whether you're craving some noodles or simply a rice bowl, they are equally exquisite in their own way!!!

I wish there were more locations of this in Manhattan. We made an order at the desk before we seated ourselves and for a Saturday evening, there was quite a bit of open tables which was great. I ordered the Szechuan Braised Beef Noodles and they were absolutely delicious. The noodles tasted a bit like ramen noodles but they were able to grab all the delicious and garlic flavored soup. I really appreciated the soft-boiled egg with its marinated egg whites. I also loved the big tender beef chunks as well. Overall, I really cannot wait to go back to Zhongzhong noodles and I hope that they open up more locations. I will say though that since I last went to the Roosevelt Island location, they have raised their prices quite a bit - maybe $2 or $3 per dish.

We…read morestopped by recently out of luck and I immediately had a good feeling when I saw this tiny place with just the counter seating because that's how many great ramen joints are in Japan! No frills, simple menu and the chef seemed exacting and totally focused on his craft. I ordered the original shoyu ramen with chasu and red spicy sauce, while wife had the Wafu Shoyu ramen with chicken. Mine was robust and had a clean taste, although I felt the broth was a bit light for my taste compared to some NYC joints. Wife's ramen had even more watery broth - I think because she ordered the "wafu" broth style which menu claimed had no meat, and together with lean chicken meat without much fat, we both agreed it was tad bit boring. I think it's a matter of chef's philosophy and not necessarily a bad thing, but I preferred a bit richer, more viscous broth than this one. We would stop by again if we're in the area, but won't go out of our way for it either. Still, a welcome addition to the East Bergen County area!

Order at the kiosk, expect to wait (and join the wait list), and hope that a seat in their 9 seat counter or four top opens up - it turns over quicker than you think. The staff of two or three are kind and efficient. I absolutely loved the miso - only offered on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Thai Cookery Street Food has filled its spot, offering dine in, delivery, and pickup orders. Stepping inside of this high-class establishment with beautiful aesthetics that presented a well lite dining experience, through-out the restaurant, I found it to be a very relaxing and a welcoming environment. I was greeted and seated; the staff was very kind. I viewed the menu and chose Thai Crispy chicken rice bowl, the chicken satay, and a salad. The salad had a ginger dressing, and it was really tasty. I had the Satay chicken only because I tasted the Satay chicken at Boon Dee Moo Ka Ta. It tasted nothing like Boon Dee, so I found it the least and it was on the dry side, the Thai Crispy chicken was more on the bland side, but the jalapenos gave it a kick. This setting felt more like speed dating, instead it was speed eating. Everything was rushed and the timing of bringing out the food was way off; the food was brought out within minutes of each other. Maybe because it is Street Food, I mean, it's in the name. I had to rush eat so that the food would not get cold, but I failed. Maybe if I had a shovel, I could pack it in quickly. With a packed mouth, I desire to. Inspire more, Yelp more!
