I come here often to get tonkotsu ramen and vanilla bubble tea, and oh my god it's always amazing. The people are kind and quick, and the restaurant is always clean and bustling with customers. Love this place, deserves Michelin star! Lol
While on business in the area, I was in the mood for some sushi. Initially for a POKE bowl. But this place came up on Google and I've been to the shopping center before. I ordered online. I decided to try the sushi burrito. My order was ready at the time provided. Which was like 10 minutes. It's a small little restaurant, but has several tables for eating in. There were several customers and the staff was quite busy fulfilling orders. I went to the pick up area and since someone was ahead of me, I decided to use the restroom. It was clean and had a cute sink that had a waterfall faucet. I was able to pick up my order and the lovely Asian woman was so sweet and friendly. I opened up my cute little cardboard box in the car containing a very large burrito, sliced in half. Each half was as big as my fist and then some. I asked for sauce on the side. I went relatively basic and being a salmon lover ordered salmon with shrimp, white rice, avocado, and some crunchy toppings and green onion. I was only able to eat 1/2 because it was quite large and filling. I'll save the other half for later. There was only one very large shrimp but plenty of salmon in my half. The shrimp and salmon tasted very fresh and had no odor. Perhaps they should cut the shrimp in a few pieces so that it is throughout the burrito. (Although there might be a second shrimp in the second half) but I don't feel like going fishing. Lol aren't I PUNNY? I believe this is a chain and it was very good.
My family recommended this place as they been I have not. But I love to try new things and this was a new and exciting. You walk in and you grab a order form if your going to do one of the many burrito options (fill it out and hand it to the cashier when ordering). If your doing ramen you just order that at the register along with the many boba options as well. They give you a number and you pick a table and wait for your number to be called. The dinning area is clean and quiet to moderatly noisy. I got the Ocean Lover Burrito (Gaint Sushi Roll) came w/ Yellowtail, Spicy Tuna, Salmon, Avocado, Masago, Scallion,Cucumber, Sesame Seed & Spicy Mayo, Eel Sauce, Wasabi Mayo. It was so good and so fresh. My fam got ramen which came out in a nice size portion and steaming hot and fresh as well. All in all great experience would and will definitely will be back.
We had spicy Tonkatsu with pork and bubble tea. There were 3 pieces of perfectly grilled thick pork in the bowl. Most Ramen places will not do this way and it make the ramen more flavorful. Bamboo shoots were also seasoned well and soup base is tasty.
I was pleasantly surprised by how good the noodles were at Taichi. The location specializes in bubble tea and poke bowls. I wasn't expecting much out of their ramen dishes or their customer service. The inside of the store is surprisingly spacious and airy. Order was easy to place and ready in minutes. Although I didn't order any drinks, the server offered me water. How nice of her! The ramen itself was delicious! I was a happy camper eating them before work. One gripe I have is that I can't get delivery from them using Doordash. It's unfortunate because they're listed there. I would otherwise order from them more often. Looking forward to returning again in the future.
Excellent Tonkatsu Ramen!!! The flavor of the broth and pork are BOTH outstanding! I was thoroughly pleased with my ramen and both the boiled egg (ajitsuke tamago) and shrimp gyoza were delicious as well. I was so pleased in fact that I would rank this ramen in my top 5 all time favorites. Not only were the flavor of all the ingredients well done, the presentation was gorgeous. The interior was welcoming and service was fairly quick considering how busy they were the night we arrived. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the Annapolis, MD area!
Annapolis NEEDED a spot like this! I can almost swear on this. My friend recommended this spot to me, one telework from home day, and I'm so thankful she introduced me. I am also thankful she was with me, but news to me - you have to order your meal not with the cashier - but write it on the menu slips closer to the door, that in my opinion, you can easily miss, and then take it to the cashier for payment and processing. But, moving on, you have the option to create your own bowl so, the chances of not liking your meal, is somewhat slim to none. To me. For it being my first time, I think my bowl was basic. I wish I added more sauces and variety of meats, but I will not blame Taichi for this. I'll blame my hesitation of not doing the most. BUT - the most impressive part to me? -- the carry-out packaging. Sealed bubble teas are offered, and their sealed-easy to carry and tumble over in the car seal, was EVERYTHING. So so so convenient. Being in Annapolis fairly often, I for sure will be returning. This time, probably for their ramen.
Fresh fruit in my boba tea. The cheese foam was delicious. The interior is really nice. The service fast and friendly. I recommend this before you leave. You will love it. 5/5 all around.
It was our first time here. Ramen was decent, could use some more spice/heat, though. Gyoza fried dumplings were also tasty. Overall was pretty good!
Well well well, I am going to give you an honest review! First off, I want to say that this place is genuinely a hidden gem! I was greeted by warm and customer service, and I ordered Spicy Miso Ramen & Mango lemonade as my drink! I sat down, and the ramen came out not too long after! It was in a nice round bowl, and the portions were extremely generous! The aroma of the ramen filled my nostrils before I could even pick up my chopsticks! I took my first bite and I was in absolute bliss! The broth was so flavorful! OMG BABY!!! Man oh man! I continued to eat the ramen and was impressed by the freshness of the vegetables inside, the texture of the noodles, and the spiciness which was warm and not too overbearing! I finished this entire bowl, and had a look of gratitude on my face afterwards! I have frequented this area for years and never knew that this place existed! I am glad that I stumbled upon it, and I will be back for more deliciousness!
I had my first Bubble Tea the other day and it was interesting! I like the way the teas are sealed because they are super convenient for transport. I tried the small Honeydew flavor and initially I really liked it. The little tapioca balls were good. You definitely got the honeydew flavor! After a few more sips I realized Bubble Tea might not be my thing but that is a personal matter. I have coworkers who visit this location on the regular for food and beverages and love it! So I highly recommend giving them a try! read more
Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! I went to this place on a cold rainy May evening and it hit the spot. Wow! The service was quick and I ate in. I had spicy Tonkotsu ramen with shrimp. It was creamy and amazing. Very filling! I also had the strawberry lemon green boba tea, very refreshing and good! I wanna go back already! read more

Clean restaurant, lots of natural light illuminating the entrance, natural vibe with wooden pieces lining the tables and interior wall, and plants collected in one area on the wall (which is perfect for photo ops, by the way). 5/5 stars The menu was clearly displayed on flat screens above the counter, and there were even to-go menus located near the door. I'm a poké bowl lover, but decided to try something a little different this time. SPICY TONKOTSU BEEF RAMEN-you know when you do something awkward like that one time you tried to put a straw in your cup of bubble tea and it shot out all over you, and the table, and you can't stop thinking about it? That's how I felt with this ramen. After I ate it, I couldn't stop thinking about it. I wanted to write songs about it. Take it home to meet my Mom. In all seriousness, I've enjoyed ramen in the likes of DC, and this was better. Creamy broth with a perfect touch of heat. Tender sirloin. Noodles cooked perfectly. Excellent presentation. BROWN SUGAR ZANG ZANG MILK-the best (only) Zang Zang drink I've ever had. Sweet brown sugar mixes with cold whole milk (or your choice of almond or soy) and an abundance of chewy tapioca pearls. Sold. By the way, I'm the awkward person and that happened during this review, but I still think you should eat there. I'm going back for the poké bowl. See you there! read more
It's amazing that they have so many drinks choices and they are all made to order. I had the Thai Tea and it was refreshing. However, I didn't care for the bubbles at the bottom. The feel of the tapioca bubbles felt weird to me. The Ramen looked amazing and I plan on going back to try it. We were in a rush and didn't have time to wait. The line was long but moved quickly. However, people had to wait awhile for their food to come out. All the food looked amazing. The veggies are fresh and the sushi is prepared in front of you. read more
I was taking a Saturday afternoon drive to south Anne Arundel County, and a had a craving for Boba Tea. Thank goodness I found this clean, modern place with the help of Yelp reviews. I only got Thai iced tea with herbal jelly, and boy I tell ya it was a nice, strong afternoon pick me up with perfect flavor and sweetness. I also saw their temping bowls of ramen and sushi rolls. How it works is you get a check off menu that you can get pretty much any meat, seafood, vegetable and crunchy toppings to their sushi and ramen items. The staff are very nice and helpful too. I'll be back to try other things when I'm back in that area. read more
The Hawaiian bowl was fresh and delicious however I wish you got more for the price as you can see there were more pineapple and mango chunks than fish itself. The brown sugar milk tea with cheese cap was ok, had better. The cheese cap had little clumps of cream cheese throughout which created a weird texture. Service was good and quick. Restaurant was clean. read more

We always stop here when we come down to Annapolis! We always get boba, that's a must, their prices are fair, and the food is good! We've gotten poke bowls and honestly they give you so much that it lasts 2 meals at least. Definitely worth stopping here! read more
I ordered the ramen with beef and shrimp and the spicy miso broth. OMG! It's so flavorful. I have been trying to find a ramen place that can satiate me like Akira Ramen does and no luck until I found Taichi. This place is a gem. I'm in the Annapolis area for a little weekend getaway from home and wanted something hot for dinner. Had a taste for ramen and am not dissatisfied in my choice. The broth was nice and flavorful, very hot and definitely spicy. The beef was so tender and delicious, and there was a nice generous helping of shrimp and noodles. Everything was flavored well and blended together well. Overall, I would definitely come back. And considering I only live about 30 minutes away, I will absolutely be coming back. Next time I'll try one of the many teas they offer. If you're in the area, do try! read more

I would like to preface this by saying that I am from Southern California, and therefore I am a bit of a poke purist. I have been disappointed time and time again by several Maryland "poke" places. That said, I can confidently say that this is the best poke I've had on the East Coast! And my family agrees. I ordered the salmon poke and loaded my bowl with almost every topping. I loved all of the options, especially that avocado, tamago, and mango could be added free of charge. I feel like it was definitely worth $10, considering the size and quality of the food. My dad got the ramen and was immediately impressed. I tried a piece of the pork and immediately decided to order the tonkotsu ramen on my next visit. Additionally, the workers were kind, helpful, and accommodating, even when it got a bit busy. I have exactly zero complaints, and I will definitely be back again! read more

Really impressed with their bubble tea! I ordered a large lychee mango smoothie with boba, as well as small strawberry green tea with boba. Both were incredible, flavorful, and sweet. Honestly the best bubble tea ever (and that's coming from someone who drinks it on the regular). The restaurant is so cute, spacious, and inviting. I wish I tried the sushi burritos... maybe next time? Friendly staff and fresh food too. read more
OMG YES! I have awaited a place like this in the area that has Bubble tea on steroids, poke sushi, (or the protein of choice/ or veg burritos) and ramen- in a stand-alone storefront, located in Annapolis Harbor (shopping center); And FINALLY, Taichi Bubble Tea has *fulfilled* that long time desire. AND, it's next to ULTA--Praise d' Lawd. They follow the 'chipotle model' where you can customize your selections or go with one of their combinations! I went with the poke amazing bowl pictured below which had tuna and salmon, corn, edamame, tomatoes, cucumber, eel sauce, seaweed & some fried garlic bits-- with a Thai iced bubble tea it was delicious! Also, to the order- a custom sushi burrito, that my hubby & I struggled to finish. So glad go have this great option and alternative in the Annapolis area and will be returning often! I will be the resident mayor by tomorrow. Trust. read more

Good ramen for the area. Prices on food are fair, but be prepared to spend on drinks. They don't have a fountain so you have to get their tea which is good, but expensive. Recommend the Tonkotsu ramen specifically. read more

I decided to check this place out since I was in the area and was surprised by how good the boba is. I got a jasmine milk tea and a passion fruit green tea. They both had a strong tea flavor without being overly sweet. I also got a sushi burrito and it was ok. I waited over 15 mins to get the sushi but everything is great other than the wait. I would come back for the tea. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Ramen is 10/10, poke bowl 10/10, Boba Tea 10/10, customer service 10/10. They accidentally forgot my protein on my poke bowl, but they were super nice about it and made me a new poke bowl and even gave me a free boba milk tea, which was the BOMB. For my hispanic folks it tasted like aroz con leche! read more

We've visited many times for boba or milk tea and we always say we're going to try some food. I wish we hadn't waited! We had the tonkatsu broth with steak and a Hawaiian Bomb rice bowl. The broth was savory and just what I needed on a bleary day. You can order in person, take forever to make your selections on paper like we did (hah!), or order on their online app. Food is prepared fresh, and it's really easy to customize. It is more of a fast-food style restaurant, but you can certainly enjoy your meal and dine in. While not the most inexpensive, the quality, promptness of service, and flavor are worthwhile. read more

Amazing!! I have always been an avid boba fan. I was here visiting some family for a week so I thought I would stop by. ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE TEA!! It reminds me more of a traditional tea rather than one with a bunch of sugar. I got the strawberry green tea with tapioca bubbles. I highly recommend!!! read more
I was a Fleet Feet next door and could NOT resist the temptation of a Boba Tea for the drive home. It was extremely tempting to also grab a ramen to-go, but I resisted, knowing I'll be back in the area eventually and will plan accordingly. I had zero regrets sippin' all the way home. read more
My sister has been taunting me with pictures of her eating here so I was really excited when I came for a visit. I got a Poke Bowl with two proteins and a sushi burrito with one protein. YUM! I also got a Thai tea with extra bubbles. Everything was very good. I would caution that if you have allergies or food sensitivity to check your order because nearly everyone's order had a discrepancy BUT we aren't picky so we didn't bring it to their attention. For example: I asked for brown rice and got white rice. They also included corn. read more

THIS PLACE IS JUST AMAZING. The staff was amazing and just so nice. They were extremely helpful as it was my boyfriend and I's first time here. We both got the sushi burrito and IT WAS SO GOOD!!! I got the salmon in my burrito and just a whole bunch of things inside it. My boyfriend got the spicy salmon in his burrito along with a whole bunch of other things in there. It was good. You can put a lot of things in your burrito which is the great thing. I also got the Matcha Zang Zang which comes with boba already and I added lychee jelly. And the matcha was pretty strong but I really loved that. My boyfriend got the Thai Tea and he absolutely loved it. read more

Absolutely incredible. I have never not been thoroughly satisfied with a trip to Annapolis Taichi Bubble Tea. This evening I was hungry and decided to stop by for a bowl of miso ramen. Food was prepared very swiftly and delicious as always. read more

Been here for about 3 times already, nice selection of bobas, teas, smoothies, sushi, sushi burritos, ramen, etc. they have a huge selection of Asian dishes. The ramen here is always good, something about their broth! Very flavorful I finished my ramen in one go. Staff is usually efficient even on busy days, I usually wait around 10-15 min for my order. Lots of parking out there. read more

Finally! I've been looking for a good Ramen place in the DC, Maryland, Virginia area for a little while, and this place looked promising. Thankfully, looks did not deceive me this time. I don't know if it's just some North USA lazyness or something, but most places that I've found up here only do 2-3 broths (usually Tonkotsu, Chicken - which is not normal for Ramen in my experience - and some vegan option) and add some infusion for extra flavor to vary the selections and artificially inflate the menu (often miso and curry). The result is similarly boring flavors and nearly identical appearances between broths. This place, on the other hand, knows what they are doing. They have different broths (including 3 of the traditional broths: Tonkotsu, Miso, and Shoyu), that are clearly made over many hours of effort to develop deliciously deep flavors that make the delightfully large portion of Ramen well worth slurping down. Rating this Ramen against all others I've had (which is a lot, to be clear), it's about an 8.5/10. For Ramen in the USA, I'd give it a solid 9/10. In other words, delicious. I will gladly come back next time I'm around the area. read more

Amazing broth. I've tried many places in the area and this place is definitely in my top 3 for the DMV area. The meat is tender and well seasoned. The wavy (yellow) noodles are the best. I can't wait to try the other menu items. The bubble tea is amazing and they have vegan options to with almond milk. read more

Everything is amazing!!! I stopped in on a Monday afternoon for some light food and bubble tea and ended up ordering the whole menu. The poke bowl was delicious and so fresh and my date enjoyed the burrito (I think, it was gone in two seconds..). We were so impressed with the food that we went back for a bowl of the miso pork ramen to try. So good and the presentation is so nice to boot. I loved our drinks - passionfruit green tea and Thai tea. Everything complemented each other so well and I felt that the price was reasonable! Super cute storefront and very clean. I have zero critique. We will definitely be back, I loved it!!! read more

I've wanted to try poke for the longest time since my favorite food is sushi. I was in the area and decided to try this place. It's a quaint little place with a good amount of seating. I walked into and to the right you fill out a sheet to create your own bowl (or have one of their signature dishes). My food was for to go but they put me for here accidentally so I took that as a sign and sat down with my food lol. It was sooo delicious. I'm sad I live so far away because I would genuinely eat here weekly if I didn't. I also got a taro bubble tea for later but it wasn't my favorite. It was decent but I wasn't really upset by it because regardless, I will enjoy a cup of boba . I would definitely recommend this place to anyway. The staff is helpful and the food is great. read more

Incredible and authentic! Hands down the best ramen soup that I have had so far. From the toppings to the broth itself, everything was decadent. I particularly enjoyed the quality of the egg and seared pork. The name of the dish I ordered is called Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen. read more
