Amazing Rip off!!! I…read moream booking a sprinter van and SUV for my daughter's wedding. Initial quote for the sprinter from S. Reno to a location up Mt. Rose Hwy, one way..... a three hour minimum for a 30 minute trip per Google Maps. After the wedding, an SUV to take the bride and groom from the Mt. Rose location to S. Reno, again, 20-30 minute trip with a two hour minimum for the SUV. Okay, I can deal with this as I understand minimum, so I add one stop in Incline village for both the sprinter and SUV. Total trip time per Google Maps, 58 minutes. I just received a new quote that now for my TOTAL 58 minute trip, they have to increase the sprinter minimum time to 5 HOURS and the SUV for 3 HOURS!!!!! For a 58 minute job!!! If that is not a complete rip off, tell me what is.

The lady in the call center was also outstanding--extremely professional, efficient, and quick to find alternative transportation for my boss. Her expertise and calm demeanor made the whole process so much easier. Overall, the level of customer service was exceptional. I will definitely use their services again in the future. Enhanced Testimonial: Beyond Excellent Service!…read more Five-Star Transportation & Communication: A Huge Thanks to Heather! I simply cannot recommend this company highly enough, and specifically, our incredible driver, Heather! The exceptional service started before we even landed: Heather texted me to confirm our arrival time and was waiting for us when we arrived at the Reno Airport. Despite our venue being a 1.5-hour drive away, she was pleasant and professional throughout. For our early 7:00 am departure, she was punctual and proactive--she texted again to confirm the pickup time and arrived a full ten minutes early! What truly set her apart was her helpfulness with accessibility. When we needed a wheelchair, Heather efficiently got us the number to call. Thanks to her foresight, we coordinated with the airport before reaching the curb, and the wheelchair and attendant were waiting for us upon arrival. She made everything feel effortless. If you book with this company, do yourself a favor and request Heather! A genuinely happy customer. Antoinette

Ed was incredibly easy to work with. I sent in a request for a quote and got the quote back within an hour or two. The quote was overall quite a bit less than the other company (a bit more on the way there, but way less on the return trip). Ed gave me his personal contact info, gave clear directions on how to meet the car and sent a payment link. Easy Breezy! You know what's not easy breezy? A full-on rainstorm that is showing flooding in the airport on the news! That happened, so when our flight pushed to the next day, I quickly texted Ed with an update. He said it was no problem which was a weight lifted. And then when our flight time kept pushing back, I kept him updated and that was no problem as well. I would 100% recommend Tahoe Checker Taxi and when we return to the Reno area and need transport to Tahoe we will absolutely use them again.
