Wow! I called them back to confirm my booking and was treated so rudely. I didn't mind that he couldn't recall our conversation or the quote he gave me just yesterday, but he acted like he was offended & put off that I didn't want to just give him my credit card info without providing me a written quote. Well, considering he had no recollection of the vernal quote he gave me yesterday and his price today is even more, can you blame me for wanting something in writing? Our driver, Kirk, showed up a few minutes early, which was comforting, but was very patient and courteous while we waited for the ladies to finish getting ready. He explained all the features of the limo to us, helped us get securely loaded in, then safely and comfortably drove us to the wedding ceremony. He patiently waited just outside the venue then once again loaded us in and then safely drove us to dinner. When dinner was over, he again helped us load up and comfortably delivered us back home. I had a few minutes to talk one on one to Kirk and greatly enjo it. He's a very likable and confident professIonal. We needed a limo for our sons wedding to transport a group from South Lake Tahoe to Palisades Tahoe for a late afternoon wedding returning late evening. The service was excellent to and from the venue. When returning at night the driver even took a little side trip to ensure an elderly couple made it safely to the hotel they were staying at. The hotel was near the venue so he had them follow the van until they got there safely. Driver was very friendly chatting with the passengers during the ride. Very reasonably priced. Ashley spoke with me several times throughout the day to coordinate a meeting point with specific GPS coordinates, explain details of how to get there, and patiently waited as I got in touch with my partner who had limited service. She even called me when a cancellation occurred to offer the opportunity for my partner to take an earlier car than booked. She truly put us first and was thoughtful and considerate throughout a very stressful process. When roads were unexpectedly closed, the driver Ron immediately reached out to coordinate a new meeting point. Ed was really helpful with booking so last minute. He was trying everything he could to accommodate for us. Then when we had the we had no idea where to go and the driver, Marlene, took us to a spot where we can look at the view and when I asked her opinion of where we could go next, she recommended a place and called and put out name down for us so they had a table ready when we got there. Lastly, after that stop we wanted to get more soda so we had asked her where we could get soda and she went while we were in the restaurant to get us more soda. Mr. Ed Loudenclos, Owner of Sunset Limo Services, I don't know who was driving a Black Party Bus on West Bound I-80 on Wednesday, June 5 at approximately 7 pm; (it may have been you yourself); but I was entering the Freeway at the Sparks on ramp which merges onto Highway. I was merging appropriately with signal, allowing the vehicle still in the occupied lane to pass me, I saw your Sunset Limo Van move into the middle lane and I proceeded to Merge. My vehicle is designed to signal if there is another vehicle in the lane I am trying to enter and this did not happen! As I merged, fully into the acceptable lane, your Black Van veered right into my lane, and all the bells and whistles went off in my car. Had I not moved almost to the shoulder of the road there would have been a major accident! Since my exit was the Pyramid exit-North bound, I definitely saw your logo on the Back of your Black Van. I stopped at the In-n-Out right off the Highway and it just so happened that the vehicle following your Sunset Limo also stopped and came up to me to see if I was ok. They wanted to be sure to let me know they had indeed witnessed the incident, and gladly gave me their contact information. They were visiting from the California Bay Area and could not believe that a Company vehicle/driver would be allowed to maintain his job, much less not receive a citation for this reckless driving practice. They were so enraged by this behavior they wanted to contact the Highway Patrol or local Sheriff. They felt this driver may have been under the influence and would more than likely cause another accident before reaching their destination. I declined to call Law Enforcement, because I needed to get to my home, but I was glad these citizens felt compelled to go the extra step and ensure that I was ok. Mr. Loudencios, you have an obligation to the good people of Reno, NV to hire safe drivers and have the ability to monitor your vehicles if they exceed the speed limits on routine basis or drive recklessly. I did leave a message on your Company phone line to have Manager return my call to discuss this matter, but since no one has returned my calls, I feel it my Civic Duty to warn the public by posting this on Yelp. I hope anyone needing a "Party Limo" will think twice before using Sunset Limousine Services, you may lose more than $$$, your lives and the people you love are at risk riding with this Company's drivers. read more

We booked this service in February for a March 18th outing to the Mustang Ranch. The company was provided with the time and street address for pickup. They went to the wrong location and so they were late. The driver didn't know the address to the Mustang Ranch so he looked it up and drove us there ... it was 6.3 miles from where we were supposed to be. Again, late. The limo itself was old and beat up. The lights were falling from the ceiling, the A/C didn't function properly or cool to the 60 degree setting. In the back, there were holes in the ceiling for vents but no vents. The driver was annoyed when we asked him to take a picture of the 12 of us. He never opened doors for us or helped us in/out of the limo. After the trip, the company charged another $200 to the credit card we booked with and would not respond to voicemails or emails sent to ask why. Finally had to file a dispute with the credit card company to get their attention and then they only returned $150. read more

We requested different pickup areas for different groups on our day of arrival, then combined the groups on the day of departure. Plus, our Wal Mart pickup order was delayed, so we had to wait on it, and yet the drivers and Ashley handled all of our requests and changes without the slightest complaint.
