Terrible experience!!!!!!!!!!!! i was promised a stretch limo that seated 8 and a professional driver who would provide highlights and history of Las Vegas. The limo was a modified old Cadillac, only seated 6 people - barely! There was a "portable A/C tube" blowing through the drivers window that grossly insufficient to cool the passenger space and so loud we couldn't even hear each other speak. One guest was so miserable she had the driver turn around shortly after departure. After calling Bell twice to address the situation i was told there was nothing they were going to do to compensate us for the subpar vehicle and service. Reached out in January to book shuttle service for my wedding in August, was told by their rep Cheyenne that, "While I would love to provide this quote for you, please be advised that we can only take reservations up to three months in advance. At this point, our prices may have changed." I reach out to them just over three months ahead of the wedding date per their request and was told that they no longer had availability, as "It seems to be a very popular date for weddings, as we are currently already servicing 4 weddings on that date." (hence why I reached out in January, thanks). Apparently these weddings were "approved by our general manager" despite the brusque initial email letting me know that they cannot accept my earlier inquiry. Extremely dissatisfied with customer service here and complete lack of consideration. Would strongly suggest looking elsewhere if you are hoping to book service in advance. read more

Beware - the customer service makes misrepresentations, engages in cover up of own employees, refuses to work on a solution, even if options are available, and you may end without a ride. A family friend needed a shuttle from Reno airport to Tahoe. When booking a ride to Tahoe, representative refused to book a return ride to Reno and told us to call a day before departure. When we called a day prior, we we're denied a ride - apparently because we needed to call 24 hours prior to the shuttle departure time (vs a day before as we were told), and we called 23 hours 45 minutes instead. No one else booked that shuttle so the company could not make the reservation available to us because "the system would not allow it" - despite the shuttle, obviously, having all spaces available. Talking to a manager did not make a dent as she supported her employer's misrepresentations and blamed the situation entirely on us. This is the company to avoid unless you want to be left out in cold by a company which does not give a damn about you or a quality of their service. read more

I booked a party bus to pick up my wedding party after my wedding and these guys sent the bus to the Peppermill Casino. The confirmation email they sent me had the correct pickup address and everything. Fortunately I rented a large charter bus for the rest of the guests and we had extra room for some of my people. I had all of my groomsmen and their wife's waiting for a hour and thirty minutes for the party bus to pick them up. Now it is over 2 weeks and the General manager will not return my phone call to refund me the $438 for their screw up. Oh and to top it off I rented 2 limos to drop all of the wedding party off and one of the limos was 20 mins late!!! We hired Bell Limo to drive our high school-er and his friends around for Prom. At the beginning of the night, we gave Victor, the driver, a 25% tip to make sure he kept the kids safe. At the end of the night our son mistakenly gave him another 25% tip not knowing that we had already tipped him. Victor gladly took the tip when he should have said, I've already been tipped thank you! We asked for our money back and he made some lame excuse that the kids insisted on double tipping him. We got no where with the manager - Igor - either. What happened to customer service and the customer is always right? Victor also left 1/2 hour earlier than was contracted. For our wedding in June, our limo driver literally drove **3 people** back to their hotel (we had a small wedding) and she asked me flat out for a tip while I was standing there in *my wedding dress* and even let her go early because I was in such a good mood. I told her we would be tipping people later... because we didn't want to be thinking about tips on our wedding night while drinking alcohol. She stormed off, said "ughhhhh" and walked away without saying goodbye. We are mailing tips out soon and she will definitely not be getting one. How do you do such little work, not congratulate the bride, and then ask for a tip? I said I wasn't going to leave a review, but she was literally the last person I spoke with that evening and it was such a horrible thing to do to a person on their wedding day. Karma. We hired Bell Limo for our daughter's wedding this weekend (Memorial Day Weekend). The wedding was on Mt Rose at the Winters Creek Lodge and the guests were all staying at the Hyatt in Incline. The drivers arrived at the Hyatt on time and safely shuttled everyone up the mountain to the venue & then safely brought a bunch of tipsy wedding guests back home at the end of the evening (with one shuttle round in between for those that wanted to leave early.) We booked Bell Limo and their affiliate business Airport Mini Bus to assist us with our wedding in Squaw Valley in October 2014. When searching for limo and shuttle companies, we actually chose Bell even though they were more expensive than some other smaller companies - because they came across as more professional. They responded with a quote quickly, provided a breakdown of the fees, had a wide selection of vehicles etc. The shuttle buses we used during the week to move our guests around Squaw, Tahoe City, between the church and reception were great. They were on time, happy to be flexible etc. Unfortunately for us, the limo for the bride broke down on its way from Reno to Squaw. Luckily for us they sent a replacement vehicle but it arrived 30 minutes after we booked it, it was the wrong color, and the bride arrived at the church late. During the week we spent over $1,500 with Bell. Not surprisingly, we wanted some sort of compensation from Bell for the inconvenience, stress and disappointment of getting the wrong color limo. We spoke with Alex Crosby, the manager and asked him how he proposed to compensate us. Alex's first response was "we will refund 30 minutes". This was the 30 minutes that the limo wasn't actually where it should be we might add. We told him that this simply wasn't good enough. He told us that we needed to look at this from the "other side of the coin" and that they did us a favor by sending a replacement car, and could have not sent a car at all (his words exactly). Alex eventually agreed to refund 1 hour. We again said that this was not adequate. Alex said that this was all that he was authorised to offer and that anything else would need to be approved by their VP Brad. We were provided with a 2 hour refund, and with it, the following comments were made by Alex "we provided you a service, you used our fuel, our driver, and our equipment, we feel a 2 hour refund is more than fair in the matter." I think this response basically sums up Bell's approach to customer service. When considering booking a limo/shuttle service in the Reno/Tahoe area, think carefully before choosing Bell. read more

We are from New Orleans... we flew to Phoenix than to Reno and had ordered a limo 2 weeks prior to pick us up a the Reno airport and take me and my family to Harrah hotel.... I called a week ahead to make sure it was all set, the said got it. They even said they hold a sign with my last name on it, I thought that was neat ... We land and we walk out... NO LIMO , I called and they the said we don't have a reservation for you so I said but I know you have my credit card number because it was charged..... We been traveling for 7 hour and I just about lost it. I go the the counter and she said she can have one in 30 minuets. About 30 minuets later he shows up blasting his thug music from the limo and my kids are about to board.... I told the driver there better not be anymore problems he said no sir... he did not help with anything so I did not leave him an additional tip as I usually would over the $30 that's included.... I had booked four reservations for our Tahoe weekend and everything was easy and pleasant leading up to the trip... The first two rides were seamless and then when I called with a flight cancelation situation for the third reservation and the dispatch employee was incredibly rude and unhelpful. She misinterpreted my ask and took the liberty of canceling the two remaining reservations without authorization, told me they were being refunded. I was surprised and a little confused because I did not ask her to do this, but I went with it because she said they were refunded... Not only did she fully charge both of unauthorized canceled rides, there was a mysterious extra charge of $20 with no detail listed. I was frustrated because we had spent over $400 in ubers/taxis on top of these charges, since she had proactively canceled without me knowing - we paid double for transportation. I had to call over five times the following week to get answers. I finally got to the GM, he was so rude I have no idea how he is still in business. He lectured me and took no responsibility for the the mistakes of his employees (there were a few other discrepancies I am not even including because they were small but add up for the bigger situation). He refunded one of the rides, without any apology and gave me no reassurance that he would follow up or look into the extra charge. Didn't apologize for the inconvenience or lack of follow up on his / his staff's part. He actually laughed at me on the phone. DO NOT BOOK WITH BELL LIMO if you want an easy experience without mistakes. The staff is unapologetic, rude and has no sense of customer service. read more

We hired Bell Limo to shuttle our guests from the GSR to our Venue at Mount Rose. We shopped around at other companies but this was the best "bang for our buck." Their communication skills were a bit lacking as sometimes asking questions took a little time for their response (via email, I'm sure if we called them we would have gotten an answer right away). On the day of our wedding the shuttles showed up as promised, and there were no hiccups on the ride to our venue. When the shuttles started running after the reception, there was one driver who did not abide by our schedule and we were left with a few guests without transportation back to the GSR. Luckily a couple of our guests drove up and were able to take those guests back into town. While we were riding in the town car we rented, we saw that shuttle driving up to the venue, we were worried we would be charged extra because the shuttle was running over what we originally booked, but we weren't. All things considered, it wasn't terrible service and we were satisfied that most of our guests got from A to Z. read more

Everybody was great to work with. Our driver Pete was superb. He was friendly, personable, and our whole group loved him. He was early for both pick ups which was nice and didn't complain about a car of 10 females singing for an hour straight both ways. I planned a surprise trip for my mother and grandmother for mothers day. I told them that it was supposed to be a big surprise from Reno to Lake Tahoe. They required my phone number and the passengers (which was my moms). I was assured that they would call my phone to confirm. They even made a note of it in the reservation. I got a confirmation call, and so did my mother. The surprise was ruined. Other than that they had a fun time. I was just very disappointed. I spent quite a bit of money on this. Saturday rolls around, no limo and when I called, the lady told me it was scheduled for Sunday. Say what!!!??? When I told her I scheduled it for 4/30 and had an email confirmation with that date, she replied that one of the employees at Bell changed the date. No explanation, no apology, no nothing. And there I am with 9 friends all waiting to go to Truckee for a pre-paid dinner at Stella. We ended up having to take 2 cars with DD's, a major bummer. Don't know if she was camera shy or what but we had to practically beg her to open the door for us; I've never seen anyone walk so slow. I then left an item in the limo. I expected a courtesy call the next day letting me know where to pick up my belongings but nothing. I emailed asking about my stuff, they gave me a phone number to call that didn't work, I emailed them and they "forwarded my concern to the appropriate department", STILL haven't heard from anyone. It is rare today to receive amazing customer service. We recently required a ride from the airport to Incline Village and met our driver Mark right on time at the baggage claim. Even though it was late at night he was jovial and quick to help get us loaded and on our way. Never having been to the Lake Tahoe area I had several questions on the way and Mark provided answers with multiple stories that entertained me and my family. This ride alone would have received 5 stars but our return trip is what blew me away. Once we reached a spot at the top of the mountain on our way back to the airport Mark pulled off at a lookout and told us to get our cameras. We climbed dug out steps in a 15 foot wall of snow to see the best view of Lake Tahoe. We took a bunch of pictures and enjoyed the view before returning to the car for the rest of our journey to the airport. Not until we got back in the car did Mark tell us that he had dug the snow staircase that morning so we could enjoy that scenic view. Wow, what else can I say. It felt cooler outside than it did inside the party bus. THE AC DIDNT WORK! There are no words to describe how miserable it was in the party bus. Even better, when talking to others about the situation it turns out that a friend of mine had the same issue with a party bus she rented from the bell limo...3YEARS AGO. They knew about the AC. and even more.... The auxiliary plug didn't work so we had to stand up and hold it in for any music to play from the playlist I made. Not that big of a deal but still annoying...especially when we are drowning in sweat. Dont even get me startef on that joke of a "manager". Rude inconsiderate jerk left the bride in tears. Basically called her a liar, and then was extremely rude when she called to let him know about the air. She was looking forward to the party bus, and the whole experience was ruined for her. The only reason I am ok giving this joke of a company one star is because the driver was amazing and patient...and leaving no stars isn't an option.
