Yorba Linda Public Library is a really solid community resource and a pleasant place to spend time…read more The building itself feels modern and spacious, with high ceilings and plenty of natural light, making it comfortable whether you're there to read, study, or just browse the shelves. Many people praise the kids' area and family-friendly programming, and there's also a great used-book nook run by Friends of Yorba Linda Public Library Book Corner that's perfect for finding cheap finds and supporting local programs. There are also useful services like passport processing, study rooms, public computers, and events for all ages, which go beyond what some smaller libraries offer and make it a hub for different members of the community. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that, like many popular libraries, it can get crowded during peak hours, and I've heard a few rare comments from other visitors saying staff interactions upstairs haven't always been great though most experiences I've seen are positive overall. Overall, it's a comfortable, well-stocked library with good amenities and a welcoming community atmosphere definitely worth a visit if you want a quiet place to read, study, take the kids, or just hang out.

The YBL Library is seriously one of the most user-friendly libraries around. I found out that they have hold feature alone is a game changer--super easy to place holds online and pick them up when they're ready. This service does saves some time but ruins the experience of browsing in the library. This library have two floors. The 2nd floor have a Help Desk, which an extremely nice librarian, that's so nice and easy to talk to. There's lots of computer available for use which is great for studying or working. There are tons of tables, so you're not fighting for a seat, and the conference rooms you can book are perfect for group projects. They also have a printing station, which is incredibly helpful when you need to print something last minute. Overall, it's clean, well-organized, and clearly designed with students and the community in mind. Highly recommend!

When I come here it's knowing that I will have the quiet necessary to do whatever studying or homework I am currently working on. At first glance, the open layout was a little bit off putting, but after a few times coming here to complete some assignments, it's actually been very constructive as mentioned before because of the study hall vibes. It doesn't allow you to slack off. The compact size also usually means less people lingering around which means less noise, again, super conducive for studying. Downside is probably that there is only one bathroom, but it's a huge bathroom allowing for a lot of privacy. The staff is usually pretty busy and buzzing around keeping to themselves since there's less people for them to be bugged by. I will say that the male staff member (Eddie I believe) was super helpful and ready to get up and show me exactly where I needed to find the book I needed. The semester is over so I finally had the time to sit down and put down some thoughts, thank you all for your help and cozy atmosphere.

He is very loud as he holds Zoom business calls at high decibels. When I asked why they allow it because it was incredibly loud and disruptive, the Librarian (middle aged tall white dude with a condescending, sardonic attitude) said it was fine and that he allows him to use the City of Orange Library study space as his office on a daily basis. He said its not against the rules (see the attached picture of the actual rules enacted by the Board of Trustees) and that he has worked at the library for 17 years and can change the rules if he wants to. Hate to see government employees acting entitled to using government property as they wish. Here is a shot of the man setup in his office hosting meetings in the public library.

Before the scandal, his presidency reshaped both foreign and domestic policy in ways that still impact us today. On the global stage: * He made a historic visit to China in 1972, opening diplomatic relations after decades of isolation--completely shifting the balance of the Cold War * He negotiated détente with the Soviet Union, including arms control agreements that helped ease nuclear tensions * He worked to wind down U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War and ended the military draft At home: * He established the Environmental Protection Agency, laying the groundwork for modern environmental protection * Signed the Clean Air Act and supported major environmental reforms * Advanced policies that reshaped federal power and economic strategy during a time of national division What stands out in the museum is how these accomplishments are presented alongside the unraveling of the Watergate scandal--a moment that led to his resignation and permanently changed public trust in government. It's a rare place where you're forced to hold two truths at once: A president who made major global strides... and a presidency that ended in one of the most significant political scandals in American history.
