This was the location of the polling booths for the primary election that I was assigned to. So I ventured to the new library. Parking was easy and plentiful with numerous spaces available that are covered by solar panels allowing guests to park in the shade. I was in a hurry so I didn't walk most of the library, I just walked into the room that was being used as a polling place, checked in, received my ballot, voted, and submitted the ballot into the machine, and exited the library all in about 10 minutes. I'll return in the future to explore the grounds and campus. What I saw was clean, nice, and tastefully appointed.

The YBL Library is seriously one of the most user-friendly libraries around. I found out that they have hold feature alone is a game changer--super easy to place holds online and pick them up when they're ready. This service does saves some time but ruins the experience of browsing in the library. This library have two floors. The 2nd floor have a Help Desk, which an extremely nice librarian, that's so nice and easy to talk to. There's lots of computer available for use which is great for studying or working. There are tons of tables, so you're not fighting for a seat, and the conference rooms you can book are perfect for group projects. They also have a printing station, which is incredibly helpful when you need to print something last minute. Overall, it's clean, well-organized, and clearly designed with students and the community in mind. Highly recommend!

Today was the day I woke up and decided to stop gatekeeping this amazing library. I come here 1-2…read moretimes a week to browse the books and buy from the friends of the library bookstore. First, the library is beautiful. There are fountains, trees, and flowers. It's right next to the Orange Circle, so it's such a cute area. I will sometimes go for coffee in the Orange Circle after visiting the library. Friends Bookstore- This bookstore has the BEST selection of books. Outside is a bookcase of $0.25 books. Inside the book store, there are rows of books and they even have a kid/teen section. Books range from $0.50 to $1.50, with some special priced books (usually $3). Also, every month they have a special sticker color that indicates that those books as $0.50! I have gotten so many books here for myself, as gifts, and for work (I'm a school counselor and they have a section for mental health books in the kids section!). On Tuesdays, $1.50 books are half off for members. It's $12 a year for a membership but it includes $5 towards books and half off Tuesdays. TOTALLY worth it. I have gotten so many good and even newly released books here for $0.50-$3! It's really a steal! Everyone I have encountered working/volunteering there have been so kind and helpful. I genuinely LOVE coming here and browsing books and talking to the volunteers.

Plenty of people who aren't students come by to study and work. Noise level: One of the quietest libraries I've been to. Everyone's buckling down and doing their work. No loud groups or hushed whispers. Honestly, such an ideal place to get in the zone. Wifi: So fast! It didn't fail once. Health: Before you enter, you have to scan a QR code to do a health screening. A bit annoying, but appreciated. They have a separate one for just the general visiting public. Parking: You can snag free street parking if you come at the right time! Can be tricky during busy hours/seasons, but there's plenty of paid parking options available. Environment: I only went up to the 2nd level. Desks are pretty individualistic (study carrel pods) and line the windows which provided some natural lighting and glimpses at outside greenery. There are more community-style tables on the ground floor. Overall just a regular library. Looks like a library. No frills.

Great library but the librarians don't follow the rules. They allow this man to come and use the…read morestudy rooms like his own personal office every day. He is very loud as he holds Zoom business calls at high decibels. When I asked why they allow it because it was incredibly loud and disruptive, the Librarian (middle aged tall white dude with a condescending, sardonic attitude) said it was fine and that he allows him to use the City of Orange Library study space as his office on a daily basis. He said its not against the rules (see the attached picture of the actual rules enacted by the Board of Trustees) and that he has worked at the library for 17 years and can change the rules if he wants to. Shout out to the Fullerton library for suggesting to come here! Long story short, I lost my passport and needed expedite renewal as I have another international travel for 2/26. The staff was very helpful and they signed me in with a buzzer to know when my turn was up as they only have 1 agent. The facility has parking in the back and it looks very clean. The tables in the middle have power plugs on the top for you to use. They have meeting rooms and quiet rooms. Overall I had a good experience.

I really love the layout of this library. The children's area is a little off to the side so I am not self conscious of my little ones annoying other visitors. The kids love seeing Yoshi the bearded dragon. They also love playing with the toys and reading in the cozy seating areas. The staff is also very nice and helpful! Book selection was nice too! My children could easily find a ton of books they were interested in. The faux trees and other decor is pleasant. While some parts are in need of a little tlc, it's a pretty cozy space overall and feels really nice and welcoming. Definitely plan on visiting this library again soon!

The Richard Nixon Presidential Museum is a must visit. If you were alive during his career of…read morelearning about who he was, every American must visit. From his early years as a youth, his military years, to his career as a Senator, Vice President, then President of America, it is all here. When people talk of this man, Watergate is always in the forefront of the conversation. And what happened then was a dark time for America, but that is not the full story of President Nixon. He did so much good during his service to our country, and it is all highlighted here. Every person should visit this museum. President Nixon started the EPA, the Clean Air Act, OSHA, Title IX, he was instrumental in the woman's rights movement and brought the Vietnam war to an end. He was the first U.S. President to visit both China and the USSR in attempts to bridge relations with these countries. And these are only a few of his accomplishments which are still shaping our country and our lives today. He loved his wife Pat greatly, and their relationship is one of the best parts of this tour. But what's more, the museum is actually on the very land his family owned. The house he was born and grew up in is still here on the property and the docents will take you on a guided tour thru it. Both his wife and he are laid to rest here too. Quite a place.

I used to just buy books but got overwhelmed with so many that it's easier just to rent a book plus gives us a reason to read new ones together. All the employees are really friendly. My friend had to get a library card I already had one so checked out 3 books. Usually park underground the lot is always full but found handicap thank goodness near the elevators. Nice courtyard they do tree lighting near here too during Christmas time. It's a cute little area for the library. Return book time is 3 weeks which is nice. Thank you for your help in finding books and for your friendly smiles. Baby girl and I also found a puzzle on the table we were trying to do for a bit too. Love this library. There were others being loud in the library yet they chose to come tell my child who has a disability to stop making noise on his computer. This is a very small library but it's nice to have close to home. I'm a kindle reader but my kids…read morelove to read too and they love checking out books. The kids section of books has a great selection and they have a few computers set up with interactive games and activities. They also do weekly classes and programs which are fun to attend. They also have lots of fliers to community events as well. Staff is friendly and helpful!! The hours are not to good but manageable. Outside they have a grass area with a few benches under some trees. You can bring a blanket and enjoy your book in nice weather. It's a good little spot to have close by.
