Rick, an instructor and operations manager was welcoming as I visited the gym (I was at Ft Drum on business). I'm a BJJ blue belt and the staff allowed for an intense roll session to include starting from stand up. I travel a lot and do both Gi and No-Gi and this plays allows for aggressive but safe rolls. If your a BJJ player and come to FT Drum you'll be remiss if you don't stop by here. If your stationed at Ft Drum and you don't train here, shame on you, this place is awesome A lot of space for mats the mats were clean, they had a cage and bags for my kickboxing/boxing folks, and a great overall vibe.
