When confronted with the error, he blamed Google for the misinformation and attempted to upsell additional hardware (an adapter plate) to fix his mistake. Refused Return and Insulted Integrity: The owner refused a return despite the sale being based on his false information. He claimed that because I had left the store, he could not verify if I had swapped the optic for a "fake." I am a licensed Registered Nurse; I have no reason to scam a shop for $300. Had he been honest, I might have eaten the cost, but because this shop chose to insult my integrity to cover their technical incompetence, I am pursuing a chargeback and Small Claims court on principle. Hidden Charges and Price Gouging: The financial discrepancies are blatant. The item was listed at $265.00. After taxes and fees, the itemized receipt showed a total of $287.13. However, my bank statement shows a final charge of $297.18. That is a $10.05 unauthorized discrepancy above the signed receipt. Inconsistent Business Identity: The business card identifies the owner as "Ernesto Gonzalez, Sick Ass Firearms LLC," while the receipt lists "Tactical and Practical." Between the mismatching business names, the incorrect technical advice, and the fraudulent math, this establishment is highly questionable. Buyer Beware: Check your bank statements. I guess the First amendment only matters to her when people agree with her opinions. On a serious note this place has anything and everything you could possibly need for any of your builds. Not only do they have just about anything you need but they also don't rush you to get out if you aren't interested in buying. (I even unknowingly stayed 30 minutes past their closing time having a conversation on shotgun technique classes with one of the guys) They are informative and don't belittle anyone. I came in the shop today looking for some advice (based on their positive Yelp reviews), and they were more than happy to talk with me even though I was not there to purchase anything right now. I visited this shop a few months back while visiting friends in the area. I love to shop around and visit stores ( relating to my hobbies ) while I travel places. The place is real small, but organized and clean. There is quantities of what you may be looking for, but not a bunch to select from. The store is stocked up with everything tactical, but limited to one or two of everything. Not a wide selection of stuff, a good store to walk in and look around. THEY DO NOT SELL GUNS, NOT THAT I WENT FOR THAT BUT FOR ANY FUTURE PERSON/S THINKING ABOUT GOING FOR THAT. ITS A SUPPLY STORE. The owners are extremely knowledgeable about everything i.e. gun parts and hunting. There is also a huge selection of to choose from. Whatever they don't carry they can order and get cheaper than any other gun parts dealer in Fresno county. They have a good selection of knives, tactical gear, lower and upper parts kits etc. I ONLY go here when I need something gun related. the service is great and the hours are nice too. Always open (except Sundays). I would recommend Tactical and Practical over every place in the valley. I've been a loyal customer for 2 years now. Fred and Chris are great guys too! read more
