Sell bottle beer and seltzer They have a condiment bar available. Taco $3.25- feels like a steep price. But the tortilla are hand made and have a nice chew. They are thick, but not too fluffy. Carnitas taco- the meat was really tasty. It was soft but still crispy with texture. A little excess oil. But was really good. Could be seasoned more. Asada- meat was soft. Has a nice grilled taste Al pastor- soft. The flavor is average. Nice texture to the meat grilled. Top shelf fries $16- was super super good. I would get this again. Great to share. Fries has your choice meat, topped with sour cream and guac. The fries are seasoned shoe string fries

I think the biggest difference is that they stopped making the tortillas by hand and the meat doesn't taste as good as it used to. In all honesty, the quality has gone downhill. I know that they started a burger food truck that they have parked outside and maybe they are focusing their efforts on that but the change is definitely noticeable in a negative way. I was so excited to come back, but was pretty disappointed with my meal. I will say that the one good thing that they still have going for them is their amazing staff. All of the workers are extremely kind and helpful and they work very hard to keep a clean and aesthetic area. If you heard the hype of fresh handmade tortillas and wanted to try top shelf tacos, save yourself the trip. They don't do it anymore and It's just like any other taco place.

However, my assumption for this place was wrong. It's very authentic and the street tacos were literally as if I got them from a taquero in south la or at a house party. Great customer service too. I forgot his name but he was welcoming and informed me they have breakfast options and menudo on weekends. Forgive me but I think his name was carls or carlos? Anyways definitely coming back!

I remember I had the birria sandwich. I decided to try them again. Came to this location, and I get the economy is in a pickle. But, the prices we paid, and the taste of the dishes we paid for just wasn't making sense to me. With that money, I could have gone to the taquero de la esquina y estuviera más barato y tendría mejor sabor. I got birria tacos. The consomé was salty and bitter. The meat was flavorless y the tacos seemed to be burnt. For the bill to be over $60, like I'd expect more. Where is the line that restaurants draw in terms of what they are willing to serve ? We got a quesadilla and burrito. Well, it wasn't very impressive. It just affirms that I probably wouldn't come back.

The OG spot for authentic, loaded tacos in Gardena I've…read morebeen a regular at El Antojito for years, and it remains one of my go-to taco trucks in the South Bay. If you're looking for high-quality, authentic street tacos at a reasonable price, this is the spot. Why I keep coming back: * The Tacos: They come 'fully loaded' and are incredibly consistent. I'm picky about my onions, and they are always happy to accommodate requests, which I truly appreciate. * Efficiency: The staff is consistently friendly, and even when it's busy, the food comes out fast. * The Vibe: It's a truck with a casual outdoor seating area, making it easy to grab a quick, fresh bite. * The Bonus: Don't skip the small shop on the same lot they have the best treats. I highly recommend grabbing an elote or a mangonada to round out your meal. If you haven't tried them yet, add this to your rotation. It's exactly the kind of local gem that keeps the neighborhood food scene great!

In the last couple of years, the competition for street tacos has gotten fierce. Some street taco stands even make their tortillas on the spot while preparing your meal. Unfortunately, this place hasn't evolved to meet the challenges and match the competition. The food is not bad, don't get me wrong, but it's not worth going out of your way for it. There is plenty of street parking and lots of tables in an open space area. Bring sweaters and jackets if the weather calls for rain or it's cold. The seating area is under the roof but there are no walls to protect you from the wind.

This food truck is on the corner of the street so it's easy to see. Parking is not bad, there's about 15-20 parking spaces in the back corner behind the truck plus street parking around the block. It's usually empty during the day but not sure how busy nighttime could get. If you go in the day they don't always have their condiments and sides laid out and are provided in baggies for easier takeout (they didn't have radishes yet). My go to order is a vampiro and three tacos. The vampiro always takes a while to make, but the cheese is always melted nicely.

Carne asada was mediocre and lengua was weirdly dry. We also got al pastor fries which had soggy fries but we appreciated that they chopped up the pina for our fries) they charged extra for it) Salsa were also mediocre - the avocado cream and salsa verde were flavorless and less than mild. Their chipotle salsa was okay, one dimensional. Habanero salsa had an okay kick but again, one dimensional. Sides were okay - love fresh onions with habanero. I appreciate radish and cucumber and the onion/cilantro were finely diced. Didn't try the beans. Pricey but portions were solid. Tortillas were store bought and low tier/kinda dry.
