One block off the main thoroughfare, this restaurant is located next door to The Dog Spa. It's a small place but don't let that stop you from giving it a try. They used to operate out of a food truck in another part of Homedale and have migrated to having their first permanent location. I believe we were told they moved in here in October of 2022. It is a place that has a meat counter for Mexican delicacies, but there are about 6-7 tables where you can dine in and enjoy some great tasting food. My wife and I both ordered the Pollo Asado plate along with a side of guacamole and some fried jalapeños. I can honestly say that everything was prepared very well and have great flavor. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and the guacamole was obviously made fresh. That, in itself, was a bonus. No mass produced guacamole! The rice and beans were a perfect portion size for the meal, and the three tortillas were soft and warm. We both left satisfied and not over stuffed! There is a small area where they sell tortillas and Mexican spices. This is good to know since we like to make our own Mexican style sauces at home. We love supporting small business whenever we can. Next trip we're gonna have to try the Jalapeño taco. They made them sound very tempting while we were eating our meal!

My favorites are the carnitas plate, menudo, tacos de tripas, tacos de birria & they're amazing people as well. The carnitas are always so amazing, the carnitas at other places are usually always dry or too oily. Service is fast & friendly & they always have Mexican music playing.

Nice big screen to see what they offer on the menu. During the week days they have taco, burrito and bowl specials. They have a large seating area after you order. If you have take out to wait for your food at counter. If you have dine in they will bring to your table. Not too sure about cross contamination due to the food being set up like chipotle and subway. So I guess there is some with the toppings. The one o would be worried about is seafood allergy. I was not able to get a picture but you might want to make sure they done fry fish and shrimp in the same basket as fries and taquitos. Co-worker ordered nachos and one got enchiladas. Both of them had elements that were microwaved to make warm. The nachos were microwaved to melt the cheese and the enchiladas the green sauce was placed in a plastic bowl microwaved then poured over enchiladas. I don't like when places have to use microwaves but they have 3 of them I say. I had the taquitos. I must admit, the flavor was good. Fried just right. Not a fan of green salsa so an option would have been nice. They only brought green out with my dinner.

I…read morehappened to wander across a picture of from their Instagram reposted on an old high school connection's story. Since I was already planning on being in town, I made it my mission to stop by and try. I ordered an Asada Burrito with Hot Cheetos (asada, rice, beans, cheese, onion, cilantro and stuffed with Flamin' Hot Cheetos, $8.50) with sides of red and green sauce. The wait wasn't long at all. The first thing I noticed was how freaking heavy the damn thing was. It was huge! Definitely worth the price if we're talking about value. Idk about you, but I am a huge fan of Hot Cheetos. I have eaten entire bags of it by myself during a movie. I bring them on any road trip, plane ride, and especially backpacking trips (something about greasy goodness and mountains in the middle of nowhere that brings me serenity). Anyway, the moment I took a bite my taste buds knew nothing else other than I was born to eat this burrito. And another one, if I didn't have a holiday party to attend later that day. I put Hot Cheetos in my sandwiches all the time, but in a burrito? Not only did it add copious amounts of flavor, but the extra crunch between bites was so satisfying! If you're ever in the little town of Payette you really should stop by! Great prices, delicious food.
