I LOVE TACOS! I am so happy this place opened. They bring me back to Mexico. The tacos are small and delicious the way they should be. You're looking at 2.50 - 3.00 a taco. Margaritas are fantastic. The lime pops in your mouth. Go here and support the little guy. Taco taco! They do have enchiladas and other great Mexican favorites. read more

Great food and drinks, some of the best tacos I have had outside of Mexico. The churros are to die for!

I went with a friend last night and the wine was on sale for $4 glass. We started with the nachos which had an amazing house guacamole and salsa. I had Molcaje for the first time and was amazed with the flavour explosion! I had to take some home. My friend had the Enchiladas which were delicious and the best refried beans I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and check it out. read more

Tacos Mexico - Molcajete- delicious. Exceeded my expectations. - Mexican Near Me - Calgary, Alberta

Great little taco spot. Always $2.50 tacos!!! My god, and they are good! Barbacoa is my favourite but Al pastor is pretty amazing as well. Had the Chorizo queso which is pretty good but pure gluttony with this choice. Very authentic little place. One of my favourites. It's always busy and a little hectic. Highly recommend if you're a taco snob. read more

Been here multiple times. Super real Mexican food at a reasonable price. The food is truly authentic.

The tacos are amazing! The staff are attentive and also accommodate food allergies. The decor is great...everything is clean and well kept. I will come back with friends! read more

Absolutely incredible! Best Mexican we've had in Calgary. The mole is soooo good and is homemade with over 40 ingredients. We ordered the Combinacion Mexicana for the appetizer and then had the Mexican platter to share. It was more than enough food for a family of four and it's a great way to sample a bunch of different flavours! read more

New Year's Eve lunch at this place with ample parking but oddly located in an industrial looking area. The decor is fun but the restaurant was extremely cold inside. Other patrons also had their winter coats on over their shoulders to stay warm. I hope this is an issue that they're addressing or you may want to wait until spring/summer before dining here! We ordered a combo appie with guacamole, hot refried beans, salsa and pickles. I've had better flavoured salsa but the rest was very tasty! We all ordered tacos. Each of them had a unique taste. There was a bean and cheese, chorizo, bacon beef, and beef tongue. Each taco had white onions and cilantro on top. I love that they keep it simple. Two salsas were provided - a salsa verde and a red one that was very hot! We really enjoyed this place and would definitely return to try other items. I wish we had a Mexican place like this in the NW. read more

The place is really cute. It's very nicely decorated with a great ambience and very clean. The staff is very pleasant and prompt and they didn't bother to ask me how my meal was just after I shoved a spoonful into my mouth, greatly appreciated! The food was prompt and VERY delicious. Portion sizes were excellent, I'm a big guy and I left full but not overfly from my entree. This place definitely is great for a extended lunch, a pleasant supper and especially great for a date night... bring something for your breath afterwards or wash it down with a fantastic drink. read more

Tacos Mexico - OMG... sooo good! The place is very cute, nicely decorated. The staff is super friendly and the food is prompt and Delicious!!! - Mexican Near Me - Calgary, Alberta

Everything was excellent, and very authentic. Quality ingredients, and obvious care put into every dish. The burritos were a little plain, but they were ordered by the kids so they might have made them mild on purpose. Even so, the flavor was good. We also ordered Huaraches and Carnitas tacos, and both were awesome. Ask for the hot sauce if you like heat - the red is quite spicy, and the green is mild but has a great sour flavor. My favorite part of the meal was the flan. Just delightful. Best flan I've had since last time I was in Mexico. read more

They have really good food, but the service sucks just the older lady is super nice and helpfull while the other young lady she is rude as hell read more

I love the tortas ahogadas, is a very tradicional dish from my hometown Guadalajara and for the price you can't go wrong, I usually split a second one with the wife cause she loves them as well, also there is so much to chose from and everything tastes so good. I really recommend this restaurant Don't forget to try the churros with chocolate syrup and ice cream or the 3 leches cake! They are great ! read more

Love this little joint! They have some of the best tacos in the city with super reasonable prices. Definitely one to keep coming back to

I had the el cuatro and it was fantastic. 4 different items on one plate so you know what to order next time. The margaritas are good. The value is good. The staff is friendly. The kitchen is open so you can see the chefs working, and they appear happy as well. Good atmosphere... not much else to say... if you are craving Mexican food then I highly recommend this place. read more

I finally found a good taco place in Calgary. Al pastor with pineapple chucks. Bomb! Their leg is tacos were also good. My husband had the asada tacos he said it was the best he had in Calgary as well. I love the fact they give different type of salsa on the side. So you can put it on your tacos to your likings. And how much spicy ness you want on it. I would come here again. They also have lunch specials; for a really good deal. Next time I come here I'm going to try the shrimp tacos. read more

I am not sure I would ever go here again. We have never gone here before. Heard how good the food was. Read some nice reviews. So we decided to pop in. We went in, yes it was supper time, but that's when most people go out to eat. We were the first in the doors and to be seated. We were stuffed in a corner. Took quite some time for them to come back and at least give us menus. Then more people started funnelling in. They made sure to seat the three other tables. Give them menus right away. Even take some drink orders for some of them, And still we sat in the corner. 20 mins with zero acknowledgment. It's not like they forgot we were there as they would walk passed us to help other tables. And still nothing. Finally I got so fed up with the lack of service so we left. Okay yes, it's supper time, I get that you are busy. But a two second acknowledgment or something would of been nice. But we got nothing what so ever. And here they have these lil things on the tables saying how they are voted one of Calgary's finest. I have received better service from Tim hortons. Oh wait, I guess you would actually have to serve me first to rate you on your service. Huge huge huge let down. So disappointing as we really enjoy Mexican food. And were so excited to finally get in there and give them a try. I most certainly would not rate them as one of Calgary's finest. read more

The service has always been really great to me, and the people that work there are genuinely amazing. Their food is authentic, and that's why it can be pricy, in regards to import and that's why it's worth it. Their three milk cake was so good. I highly recommend this restaurant! read more

Food was excellent. Some of the best Mexican food we have had. Not overpriced or pretentious either. It is a small place so go early or later not prime time. We sat near the doors so felt the cold whenever someone came or went but that is the only minor issue read more

We just ate here for the first time. It won't be the last. We both really enjoyed our meal. Glad we checked them out!

Just off Memorial dr and 36 street across the street from Marlborough mall you'll find a little piece of Mexico! No joke, the decor indoor will remind you of sitting in a taco shop in Mexico. We ordered a variety of dishes just so that we could try a little of everything. WOW! Is all I have to say, very authentic and flavor packed. They have specials on drinks every day but if you end up there on a Wednesday then I highly recommend you have a Margarita. It's just that good. Walked out stuffed and happy. This is a place that I'll frequent more often for good quality Mexican food. Well done Tacos Mexico! read more

Dont have high expectations when you come here. You are paying less for lower quality mexican food. Its still good. The only complain i have is the food is very bland no salt no pepper no spices in the rice either. Service was Okay.. Decor is awesome. read more

I had the asada and the pescado tacos for lunch as well as the chorizó con queso for an appy. All very very tasty! I would highly recommend Tacos Mexico. I went here with a couple of friends, the food was fantastic, and the service superb. We spoke with the owner Maria who recommended a few dishes, everything was excellent. I wish I could give more stars. read more

The food here is tasty and reasonably priced. But the service is seriously lacking. It takes a very long time to have your order taken and our drinks were forgotten on more than one visit. A request for extra napkins or hot sauce was also forgotten after multiple requests, and this is with a variety of servers. I do go back once in awhile because the food is tasty. They need to improve on their customer service, the servers and staff have a no- care forgetful attitude, dont bother to bring back anything, including another beer or margarita. read more

This place was the best, the woman from venezuela was too beautiful lol oh, and the staff was cool, hahhaha the michealada or whateva its called was good, even though i dont drink alcohol too often, the tacos was delicious, the crowd was full, but the staff made us feel like we was back in texas, so much food, love yall, thanks from texas read more

A small, casual place for authentic, freshly prepared Mexican food. Wonderful meals and an incredible selection of Mexican dishes. Four of us had an excellent dinner ranging from street tacos to enchiladas and flautas. Highly recommend the chorizo con queso. We just didn't have room to try everything but I'm going back to try the menudo (one of several sopas) and the molcajete. Just a fabulous treat to find real, quality Mexican food in Calgary. read more

Simply put....the best tacos in Calgary! The beans are also amazingly seasoned. Lunch special is great 4 tacos for $10.

Ordered delivery through Skip and only got half the order. Left out an entire person's food so they had nothing to eat. Asked for 4 sets of plastic ware only to get none. When you are staying in a hotel and they can't manage a simple delivery order it leaves a lot to be downsides. The food we did get wasn't correct either. We ordered 4 fajitas 2 other street tacos and ended up with 6 of something entirely different. Nacho chips were stale. read more
