The birria quesa tacos and birria quesadilla were absolutely delicious. Even better than I've had at fancy sit down restaurants like Maya's or Mayahuel in DT sac. I was also very impressed with their pastor taco. I never order pasor because most places make it super tough and chewy, but here it was so juicy and tender! As it was our first time, we took a little while looking over the menu and the staff was very patient with us while we made our choices. So I'm always skeptical when I try new taco truck if it's not in the bay. What I do is order one taco and that's all. I want to see the quality of meat that they have. After I devoured it, I ordered a super burrito. So you already know it was fire. I'm not gonna lie that was one of the best burritos I've ever had. I got Carne. So juicy. I don't care for the tortillas that are not grilled on the outside. I got my burrito home, and opening up the burrito felt like unveiling a culinary masterpiece! It was beautifully brown on the outside. Not to mention it was freaking humongous. As you will see from the pictures below. I used a cup of noodles so you could gauge how big it is. That burrito was two meals for me. I would've paid $20 for that burrito, it's super affordable. I've never experienced re-warming a burrito with avocado, and it not tasting completely disgusting. I was completely amazed when I put it in the microwave and it actually tasted just like when I first got it. They must have some special secret recipe to keep the avocados from tasting discussing after they are reheated. Obviously I'm just joking. I don't know how they did it. I believe the young lady's name at the counter was Vicky, she was super sweet and so friendly to me. But sometimes I don't get to experience that because I'm not Spanish-speaking. Unfortunately, a lot of workers at taco trucks treat you different if you're not Latino. Thank you so much I will be back!

The woman taking the orders wasn't the friendliest, but the food was good! Pros: The orders of fries were HUGE and for a very reasonable price. We definitely would have been okay with just ordering one meal. The birria and asada were both very good, well seasoned. Both of our orders of fries were delicious. The cons: We arrived around 3pm (they close at 6) & they were already sold out of a lot of their meats. We were told that it would be a 20-25 min wait, which we expected because the line was so long, but ended up waiting closer to 40 mins. As soon as we got our food, they closed? Which is super odd, their hours are very inconsistent as we had planned on stopping by other days & they were already closed or gone!

Hot Tortillas, Juicy Asada, and Gas Station Gold!…read more Highly, highly recommend! Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned-reminds me of what tacos should be like, before all the fast pop-up taco spots in Sacramento with no flavor or love. Always get the asada tacos here-they're juicy, packed with the right amount of seasoning, and full of that smoky, grilled flavor that hits just right. Did I mention the tortillas are actually cooked and warm, instead of the cold taco shells people serve at restaurants these days? The little details matter. Also, ask for extra grilled onions on the side-they're sweet, savory, buttery, and to die for. They pair perfectly with the tacos. This taco truck hits close to home, the prices are super reasonable, and they even take Zelle if you don't have cash. It's parked on the side of the Shell gas station and always there-grab an order, pump your gas, and eat before heading out. You can even order in advance. Honestly, I'd bring a friend here for something quick or even a casual first date and eat in the car-it's a whole old-school vibe. Service is amazing, and everyone's extremely nice.

The first thing we ate was the birria tacos and it was actually really decent. The consume was a nice touch with the special 4 birria tacos with free consume, otherwise it's 2$ extra for the consume. The tortilla was nice texturally and taste wise and the meat was juicy even without the consume. However after this, everything kinda went downhill from there. The burrito was big, we got the al pastor, but the taste was just off. It tasted spicy in a way that tacos and burritos aren't normally, a bit like Asian Szechuan taste which was not working well with the burrito :(. The carne asada fries were also disappointing. The meat had no actual flavor and the texture was beef jerky like, it kinda crumbles in your mouth. The fries were also undercooked and soggy, there were also nothing special about the fries, no special sauce or anything outstanding. Only sour cream, guac and cheese and the guac was a bit on the salty side. I would not recommend getting this either :(. TLDR: The birria is the best thing here!

Amazing... no, better than amazing!!…read more Whatever is above amazing -- that's what this is. I'm telling you now, I will not be getting hibachi anywhere else for a long time. My family has had them cater multiple gatherings, and every single time it's been the highlight of the event. And yes, the hibachi show is fun. Yes, the professionalism is solid. But let's be real -- it's the food that separates them. I know people say hibachi is hibachi, but trust me... it's not. I love hibachi, and this is on another level. It took me right back to the first time I fell in love with it -- the flavor, the texture, the way everything is cooked and seasoned. It just hits different. And here's my advice -- don't wait until you have a big event to experience it. Track down their truck and go get a plate for yourself. Just make sure you get there early because there will be a line, and they will sell out. Also, check their Instagram before you go. If they're booked for a catering event, they won't be out, and you'll be stuck settling for something that's just... not this. Go try it. Then come back and tell me I was wrong. I don't think you will.
