I was recently looking for new vegan businesses in the area to visit and was excited to find this…read morevegan Mexican taco stall in Perris which is a city I have yet to visit. Before visiting the taco stall,I contacted the business via Instagram regarding if they use nuts in the food since hubby has severe nut allergy and the owner responded promptly that nuts are used only if he make queso fresco (contains almonds) and sour cream (contains cashews) but he states that both of these toppings are rare and not regular menu items. Upon approaching the taco stall, hubby and I were warmly welcomed by the lit "vegan street tacos" sign on the gate in front of the pink house and the friendly taco stall owner. After asking what food was available to be made, I decided to have two street tacos (one with soy asada and one with white mushrooms) and hubby decided to have three tacos (one with soy asada, one with white mushrooms, and one with jackfruit.) Although my heart was set on having a quesadilla from the taco stall, it was unavailable due to a low vegan cheese supply.Despite no vegan quesadilla, the tacos were quickly prepared, piping hot, and flavorful. After our tacos were served, we liked the additional topping of fresh cilantro and chopped white onions. We loved that the food is made to order and that hand-sized tortillas where used which makes a satisfying bite. Hubby said the food was awesome and I pleasantly surprised at how much hubby loved the mushroom tacos since he usually doesn't eat veggie based tacos, preferring impossible meat tacos or something similar. Be aware that since the tacos are made to order, give the tacos time to cool or risk burning your fingers or mouth. Also be aware that their hours are subject to change so contact them via Instagram or call them to confirm hours. In closing, this vegan street tacos stall provides a very homey experience like if you went to visit a friend for a taco party and they lovingly cooked for you. We'll definitely be back for more tacos soon.

The meat is tender and full of flavor. Not all greasy like other places. The people there were nice. There's plenty of outdoor seating. People complain about the price of the tacos but you get a handmade tortilla de harina right there with delicious carne asada and so many condiments to add. If you go to a different taco place you get two corn tortillas with greasy meat and you get full off the two tortillas and those usually cost $3. So, I think the $4. Is ok to pay here, especially because prices are up everywhere. I can't wait to come back to SoCal to eat here again. De verdad deliciosa!

The fries are covered with a light layer of refried beans, a melty/stretchy (oaxaca?) cheese, sour cream, and guacamole. I usually also add some red salsa as well that you can grab from the self serve salsa bar. My wife got her food first, which I didn't mind, and half brutalized it before I could get a decent picture - oops. It was a carne asada quesadilla mini meal which was like $9 and change and came with a side of rice and beans and a drink included (she got a small watermelon agua fresca). And my friend ordered the weekend special, which was the Menudo soup with tripe meat in it (as traditionally served). Lemme start with the salsa bar. It has everything you'd ever want including unlimited chips and beans. The catch is you have to scoop the beans at an awkward angle under the sneeze guard in to your serving bowl - but hey...free is free, and my wife loves free! She also super enjoyed her carne asada quesadilla mini meal and thought it was a great value. Again, my carne asada fries were perfect as always. The cheese on top is so perfect, and one day I'm going to have to ask what kind it is. It's such a large portion and I need to get a box next time instead of housing the whole plate in one sitting. I'm way too full! Lastly, my friend gave me a taste of his menudo and I think it was the best I've ever had. I'm not a menudo aficionado by any means. I've only ever had it at families homes growing up and probably never ordered it in a restaurant. But I assumed the home cooked version was supposed to be the best (sorry grandma!). The broth was much thicker and deeper red and had more flavor than any other version I've had. The tripa was also more tender. Any connoisseurs out there, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong and throw out some other spots you feel might be better. But not until you come down and give it a try yourself! There's no way you can convince me it's not great.

For the quality, the prices were very reasonable too. The only thing that kept me from giving a full 5 stars was the service. Our waitress wasn't very attentive, and things moved pretty slowly even though there weren't a lot of people inside during our lunch visit. The atmosphere was quiet and casual, which was fine for a relaxed midday meal. Would definitely go back for the food -- just hope the service is a little snappier next time!
