I was craving some nachos and drove by this place so many times that I finally decided to stop by. Parking can be sparce, but i was able to find a spot around the corner. I ordered the nachos with chorizo and it was massive! Every chip has something on it and they did not skimp on the meat! I can usually eat a while plate by myself with no issues, but this one had me struggling because of all the rounds. With that being said the food was very flavorful. Chorizo was cooked well and there were a good portion of beans and cheese, guacamole and sour cream. The salsas that they included on the side were very flavorful. I would have liked a little more heat, but that's just a preference. The service was great! I ordered my food to go so I didn't get to have a full experience, but the staff was friendly, the food was made quickly and was still very hot by the time I started eating when I got home. Main dish was fire right on point hot on a cold rainy day. However the tortillas were lukewarm more like they put them in the microwave or a not to hot plate to cook super fast. I would have preferred hand made tortillas but they said no before hand, I did ask. I don't really eat at Mexican restaurants (because most places that I've tried don't have delicious carne asada fries). However, this place has changed my mind. First of all, I ordered a carne asada fries W/ NO BEANS & the waitress wonderfully gave me the best experience of a first timer here. When my dish came, my food was so photogenic & delicious! After taking some first few bites, she knew that the cook didn't put any meat! Obviously, I didn't even realize because the food was so photogenic & delicious to begin with. She apologized for the inconvenience & took my plate in, so I can get the meat on my order. Normally I'd think that instead of making it a hassle, she would've just give me a small bowl of meat on the side so I can put them on top of my food. HOWEVER, they made my order all new again! I felt bad that they had to make a new batch, but I couldn't say anything since she gave me a new plate of the carne asada fries. I really love the whole atmosphere here as well. On the other hand, their small restrooms are separated by genders. It looks a bit shady walking in their little hallway, but I can't complain since this Mexican restaurant is small in the first place. The meat had no seasoning whatsoever. 4 stars for the birria super taco. That's right, the goat taco is tasty. The meat tastes like a cross between beef and lamb. It had a nice moist texture and wasn't too gamey like lamb can be. Comes with beans, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream. It's pretty large and quite filling. At $2.75 it's a deal! They're slightly more expensive (20-30%) than you'd expect for this area, but considering there's ample seating and an exhaustive menu, it seems justified. Ordered a barbacoa burrito, bean and cheese burrito, birria (goat) taco, and sopes pastor. This was for three people -- I'm not THAT much of a glutton! Everything was delicious. I'd long wanted to try goat, and I wasn't disappointed. Very similar to beef, and actually had a better flavor. Definitely getting it again. The sopes were near perfect. Much larger than I'd expected though (two of them completely filled a to-go box). I think this is going to be my new go-to Mexican restaurant unless someone points me to something better. read more

First time here the other day...nothing special, just regular if you ask me. Service was kinda lacking and they took long for our order which was only 2 burritos and some Carne Asada fries. One thing i didn't like was she charged me for a refill of my drink than gave the customers sitting down free refills, hmmmm. I don't mind paying for refills but not if it's only me. Maybe they were family or something, who knows. Either way that was kinda weird. The place wasn't packed at all so im not sure what the hold up was on the food. They could use the down time to clean the place up a bit too. A simple wipe down of counters when customers leave will help a lot. This is something they should look into. Makes you feel like your an old short grandma is getting down in the kitchen lol. They have a variety of foods and are so simple and delightful.
