Great food - a little greasy for me to have more often but the Mexican sodas are amazing. Suadero is the way to go.

I will start that the food I have had is great. I have zero complaints about the food…read more However, when I order food to go I get my food, pay, AND leave a tip (which I quickly regret) but they give me a hard time EVERTIME I ask for two lids for salsa!! They say the salsa bar is for customers eating inside. So, I can eat inside, dirty a table you will have to clean, have as much salsa as I want (without the owners complaining) but if I order my food to go I am a second class citizen? This has been an issue at this place since DAY ONE. I remember in the beginning they had the salsa bar but didn't have any cups out. You had to ask for freaking cups to put your salsa in and the owner would give you ONE cup and it's the smallest cup he could give you. I love the food but I wish they would stop with this crazy rational.

Think of the most average strip-mall Mexican spot imaginable--now stop, because you've arrived. No…read moreneon sombreros, no mariachi murals, just a reliable lineup of tacos and enchiladas served with all the enthusiasm of a Tuesday afternoon. Comfortingly plain, pleasantly predictable. The system is simple: no servers, no guidance--just you, a counter, and a menu with more items than the Cheesecake Factory tried on a dare. Place your order, take your number, and prepare for the ceremonial calling of digits while you sit in chairs that are definitely not here for comfort. The chorizo burrito is huge, yes, but so is the mystery of when its ingredients last encountered a farm. Each bite tastes like it was compiled, not cooked--layer after layer of "good enough" wrapped lovingly in a tortilla that's doing most of the heavy lifting. The overall experience can best be described as "serviceable." You get food. You sit. Your number gets shouted. You consume a burrito of questionable freshness. You survive. It's a place where expectations come to rest comfortably low--and for better or worse, the restaurant meets them exactly. Cheers!

I'm still loving this place. Located in downtown Clayton, all they do is drinks and tacos. But…read morethey do everything so well! You just circle your protein (chicken, beef, or shredded pork), then circle how you want it, how many you want and wait patiently for the magic to happen. Never jam packed with people, but they draw a fairly steady stream. If that's not enough, you can pick from lots of sauces in a little cabinet. Melinda's, Cholula, etc. You won't be disappointed.

I drove from Fayetteville, North Carolina, because I had visited before and was looking forward to coming back. As a small business owner myself--I own several businesses, including The Sip Room wine bar--I understand that mistakes happen and that every business has policies that employees are expected to follow. When I arrived, the employee working the counter took another customer's order before mine, even though I was next. I didn't make an issue of it because things happen. After placing my order, I was told the business no longer accepts tap-to-pay through a digital wallet. No problem. I went to my car to get my physical card. Before paying, I simply asked if they accepted tap with the physical card. He said yes. I replied that it was interesting they accepted tap with the card but not through a digital wallet. His response was, "I don't make the f***ing rules. You can just leave." I was completely caught off guard. I never raised my voice, never used profanity, and never became disrespectful. I simply asked a question. Instead of de-escalating the situation, he repeatedly told me to "leave" and "get out." As I tried to leave, I couldn't get the front door open. He told me to go out the back, then said he would open the front door if I asked him. When I did, he looked at me and said, "Say please." That was one of the most humiliating customer service experiences I've ever had. Other customers were laughing while this was happening, and the employee seemed completely comfortable treating me that way. As someone who owns businesses and works with the public every day, I know customer service isn't about being perfect--it's about treating people with respect, especially when there's a misunderstanding. Unfortunately, that didn't happen here. I love supporting small businesses, and I even create content to help local businesses grow. I truly wanted to continue supporting this one, but after being spoken to and treated this way, I won't be returning. I'm sharing this review in hopes that management addresses how customers are treated, because no one should leave a business feeling embarrassed for simply asking a question.
