    Chicken Burrito.
    Tram N.

The night before our trip, Gavin and I wanted Mexican so we stopped by on our way home. This truck is at the corner of Foxworthy and Almaden Expwy. I've been noticing that truck since last November, but never tried it until last month (in May). The good: + accepts cards + friendly service + the lengua + the prepared salsa in tiny ziplocked bags The not-so-good: - taste - portion - meat to carb ratio - the torta We ordered the chicken burrito, lengua tacos, and chicken torta. Based on the way the torta was wrapped, I was anticipating a big meal, but what it really was, was a large roll. The chicken was scarce. The lengua tacos were good.. the lengua was soft and tender, but a tad under-seasoned. I tried Gavin's burrito and it was dry. It was the same chicken used/cooked as the torta. Glad I tried, but definitely something we did not enjoy. So sorry.

One of the BEST tacos in the Bay by far. The food quality here is insane and the portions are amazing. Everything here is a great price and the food tastes superb. I usually opt into beef head and beef tongue which are 2 of the many meats they have here. The sauces they have are fantastic also. Green sauce gives a nice kick and the red sauce is pretty spicy. I've never been disappointed by the tacos here, they're always packed with flavor and super cheap. The burritos are also top tier. There's a load of stuff in them and it's just so much better than Chipotle. This taco truck is serving some really great food and it's never a disappointment eating here. Superb experience, any other reviewer saying else wise is capping

Service: lady was nice. Food: $9 Flautas comes with 4 when you order. This was very mediocre it almost tasted like frozen flautas from Costco. $10 chicken burrito was very bland and tiny for the price. $3 rice/beans definitely not good quality. The rice was VERY soggy and it just tasted like plain rice with no seasoning. Would not come here again...

This place is overrated. The portion is big but not worth the price. $6 for sopes is way too much. And the taste is not that good. Just because the line is long doesn't always mean the its good.

This is a food truck near Shell gas station. Since it's Mexican, they can highly customize it according to your diet. It was my first time and I didn't want to take a huge order so I just ordered 2 veggie tacos. It basically had cheese, beans and lettuce with a lot of cilantro and jalapeño. They also gave some hot sauce on side but it wasn't quite good. The taco itself was very well wrapped to go and quick to make. Surely will try something new next time here. Also this place is super cheap! $2.5/taco! Follow @theVeggieConsultant on Instagram for more such reviews and pics.

I've always been curious of this place. I get gas often and never ate here. I saw and read the reviews so I decided heck, why not. It was Sunday afternoon and there was no line. I got a couple tacos, a melon drink, quesadilla and a burrito. Started with the tacos which were okay, but it just went downhill from there. The meat was fatty and they filled the burrito with mostly rice. Probably won't be back but it was worth a go.

Dos tacos - pastor y cabeza

These tacos came out piping hot. I realized the plate was actually quite greasy...possibly from grilling the tortillas in some wonderful grease before topping them. The second thing I noticed was that the onions on these tacos were GRILLED. I almost picked them off at first because I thought they were the pickled ones and I just wanted the fresh onions like a normal street taco...and then I realized they were the same boy onions in the plate and they were hot! I squeezed my lime on the tacos proceeded to consume them in all their glory. I have to say - the cabeza tacos was one of the best I've had in some time. The meat was flavorful and just melted in my mouth. The al pastor taco was also good, though the meat was a tad dry. (The past handful of places have had dry pastor...sigh...so sad.) ALSO THOSE ONIONS - I doubted them but they were really good, grilled!! Not sure that I'd always want them like that, but I was happy for this surprise. Overall, though. The tacos were great. Very much on the oily/greasy side, but I'd definitely get these again!

Tripas, asada, el pastor, carnitas, lengua, and cabeza taco. $2.50 ea Big "adult size" tacos with juicy meat !

Have tried this taco truck many many times at Foxworthy-Almaden Expwy location. -Frequent orders: lengua and cabeza taco -Sometimes I order tripas, el pastor, asada, and carnitas taco (Basically I just list 90% of their tacos menu lol) Anyway, the lengua and tripas are absolutely consistent with good quality and flavor. I wish I can say the same to cabeza, el pastor, and carnitas one. Sometimes, they are a bit dried, and sometimes they are perfect. However, with $2.5/ taco, you get good value. They are stuffed with lot of meat in double tortilla which I like (extra "cushion" for my taco lol ). Even though they don't have the "veggies bar" on the side for you to get your own, this spot is still legit! Highly recommend it!

Carnitas taco with fresh cilantro and grilled onions

These were the best carnitas tacos I've had in a long time. The meat was lean, large portion, and delicious! The grilled onions are what made this taco. The two ladies running the truck were super nice. Will definitely be back.

Tacos El Rufles is located at the Shell gas station at the intersection of Doyle and Saratoga. I usually get gas at this Shell and I always saw this truck. I never stopped by because I just wasn't sure. I decided to let a few Yelp reviews be written first. Well, after most of the first few reviews were fairly positive, I decided to pop in. In the area, I think the most popular taco truck is the one(s) at the other Shell near the freeway on Saratoga. This truck is a little smaller and a lot less busy. However, don't let that deter you. I think the tacos are just as good. They taste super fresh and pretty darn delicious. They are a little skimpy on the condiments though, including the onions and radishes. The limes, they only gave me 1 slice for a plate of 4 tacos. Because it was a to-go order, I didn't notice until I got home. Also, the hot sauce, they only gave me a small container of the green and 1 of the red for an order of 6 tacos total. No salsa/hot sauce bar like other trucks. Speaking of tacos, we went with 4 asada and 2 pastor. Both were excellent. As I mentioned, it was very similar to the ones down the street, if not a tad better. They had a good amount of meat and my favorite part, cilantro! They have a big communal table, if you decide to eat there. Many people do, but parking might be tricky, because there isn't much, unless you double park. I'd recommend your order to go. Definitely a place I would go to again. If I go order first, then pump my gas, my order will be ready right when my 91 octane is done (stupid BMW).

Delicious carne asada tacos. Their meat is juicy and tender and does not contain a lot of fat. My go to place for tacos. Their carne asada burrito is also good. This place is on the corner of Foxworthy and Almaden.

The chinese bhel was okay, but didn't have much flavor. Lastly the ragda pattice had so much potential. Yesterday, I ordered a Vada Pav, Shalimar Egg Mughlai (on their recommendation from their list of egg dishes), and a Veg Frankie -- and honestly, none of it lived up to the hype(5 stars currently) or price point. Vada Pav: It was okay. The "mirchi" served alongside was literally a raw Thai green chili. Really? At least pan-fry it with some salt and oil to enhance the flavor. For over $10 with taxes, this was already pricier than better Vada Pavs you can get at places like Elco Drive, and yet it offered nothing exceptional. Frankie: This one made me genuinely angry. It was a soggy maida roll stuffed with the same aloo masala from the Vada Pav, plus a few sad shreds of cabbage. That's it. And they had the audacity to charge $12 for it. ($1.50 for cheese, lol I am glad we didn't add)This isn't a Frankie -- it's a lazy repackaged Vada Pav with no flavor or creativity. They threw in some pickled jalapeños on the side, which only added confusion. If you're running a fusion menu(well partially), at least mention it upfront instead of misleading customers. Egg Shalimar Mughlai: At $13, it was passable but still not impressive. The bun on the side was not toasted or anything. Better than the Frankie, but nothing I'd recommend or return for. I was so excited for trying this place but, overall, this place is overpriced, underwhelming, and frankly disappointing. If your Vada Pav and Frankie are practically identical, maybe inform customers before they order both. I wouldn't recommend Maya Kitchen -- save your time, appetite and money and go somewhere else. Thank me later.

It wasn't overly florally, instead it just enhances the coffee without overpowering. Even more so, the vanilla latte was even better because that Madagascar bean flavor really shines through.
