They only had 4 food trucks, but apparently that will be the standard. However, those trucks will be rotating out. I'm not sure how frequently. We both had food from Stuff Puppies. I enjoyed it and there was a long line and wait, but it was because everything was made to order. There was seating, but not enough for the grand opening. We waited in line, but many people stayed back to hold seats for others, so we stood and ate our stuffed puppies. Another hang up were the drinks. They were serving beer and wine on this particular day, but we just wanted bottled waters and none of the trucks were selling drinks. So, we had to wait in the beer and wine line to get a bottled water. I'd suggest them making a separate line for just sodas, bottled water and other non-alcoholic drinks. The event had a fundraising component. They were donating a portion of the proceeds to the North Augusta Bark Park. Overall, cool event. I'd just like to have seat to enjoy my food next time.

Average wait time for a fresh cooked hamburger. The lettuce looked questionable, it lacked freshness - wasn't crispy appeared slimy and black (see photo). That was the most disappointing part of the whole experience, someone actually grabbed a limp, soggy piece of lettuce and thought it would be a good idea to use it on a hamburger. The burger (minus the lettuce) tasted good and the seasoned crinkle fries were good as well. For $14.53 I would expect more fries and crispy fresh lettuce.

Through the app, I could make a reservation for a party of five. I spoke with the hostess by phone to let MCC know we were en route. I apologize for the inconvenience of our late arrival. MCC is amazing! The place is spectacular with its vast size and interior design. The Lady greeted us at the front entrance. The Washington Apple cocktail was smooth and what I needed after the long road trip. The Salmon is glazed with bourbon and is cooked to perfection. My oldest sister proclaims the Cajun Shrimp and Sauage pasta is the best she has ever tasted. We ate and had a wonderful time creating lasting memories together. I wish to thank the Chef and the beautiful hostess involved on Thursday evening. It was exceptional in every way and added so much to the enjoyment of a triple birthday celebration. I ordered an assortment of tacos and the elote (spicy). Carnita (4/5): Like most carnitas in the states, the carnita taco here is made with what tastes like a leaner meat, likely pork shoulder. Although lean and shredded, it retained a good amount of moisture and juiciness almost like it was brined for a long period of time. It was one of the better carnitas I've had and would order again, well filled. Chorizo (4/5): All of their tacos have a good amount of meat inside of them. The chorizo was well seasoned with a slight kick, just a touch salty. The pork had a nice charred flavor and was great with lime. Quesabirria (5/5): If la jaliciense has their cabeza taco being their best bite in my opinion, Taqueria Las Ruthis has the quesabirria. It has a generous portion of shreded beef that is very tender, well seasoned, and like the carnitas is super juicy even without being dipped in the consomé. There is a ton of cheese that like its tortilla is lightly charred for a nice texture. The consomé is warm and this is the perfect taco to order as it gets colder in Augusta. Asada (3.5/5): The carne asada taco was not as impressive as the others I had tried mostly due to taste and texture. It was not very tender at all and did not taste smoky or grilled compared to asada that I have had at other food trucks/Mexican spots. I enjoyed the grilled onions it comes with and again decent portions of meat within. Spicy Elote (3.5/5): Was a nice find to have elote again with the last time I had it being in San Antonio and Laredo, Texas. When I think of the great elote I have had in the past, I think of very heavy butter and crumbly cheese with sometimes having a cream or mayo within. This one had a decent portion of cheese but much less butter or cream/mayo than others. The spicy powder (tajin) was a bit excessive and I would order regular or hot cheeto in the future. Prices are fair at around $3.25-4 per taco and the service is fast. It comes with a green and red salsa that are both great and a few wedges of lime. I will definitely return to this spot when I want a changeup from La Jaliciense.
