Apparently, I've made it my mission to keep up with each delicious offering. My first experience with Vegana Casera was last February at Green Saturday LA. Since then, I've seen them pop up at other events and places, including a regular pop up at Cosmic Brewery in Torrance. The owners are really nice and sometimes I see them team up with Jaycelab. I never expected to frequent a pop-up vendor as much as I frequent Vegana Casera but their food is so good, it's hard for me to stay away! After writing this list, I'm realizing how much I've single-handedly given this vendor my business. LOL! I will gladly give them more of my money if they keep feeding me delicious vegan food! Every item on that list, I will (and may have) eaten again. I'm especially eager when they announce new items. Sometimes a crowd forms around their food tent and the wait is long and the smell of jackfruit cooking on the grill makes me crave it more. Just when I'm about to get impatient, my food arrives and I think "totally worth the wait!" One time I bought a dozen Jackfruit Tamales for a family function. My meat-eating family was impressed and my evil plan to turn them all vegan is working! Who knew vegan food could be so friggin good?! I went dutifully every week, and bought their meal of the week for lunch. I went home, and raved about it to my husband. I declared Wednesdays Vegan day... .... Until they stopped coming. They went on to Rialto's farmers market instead, and now there's no more vegan in my life. I can't travel to the Rialto's farmer's market on a work day because I just don't have enough time. I've seen that they're often at breweries or other events, but unfortunately none of their events are near my home.
