She explained everything well and in a fast year so I was able to order fast. The portions are amazing and they work pretty fast considering people were coming and going fast. I'll definitely come back again. Can't believe it took me so long to try it. 10/10

I used to be a huge fan of Mi Hibachi, but after my visit today, I can say I'm no longer a fan. I…read morearrived at 6:10 PM and placed my order. I was told it would be a 15-20 minute wait, which is usually how long I normally wait at Mi Hibachi. I told the cashier (owner) I'll go to the store real quick and be back. I returned at 6:25, and my order was still not ready. I thought to myself "hey, maybe they have a big order, let's give it a few more minutes." 6:30, nothing ready. 6:40, nope, my order is still not ready. I see the cooks going back and forth as if they're making a bunch of orders at one time. Okay, so where is my order? Do they not know how to prioritize orders? I am literally standing in front of them, in pouring rain, pissed the hell off. Annoyed is an understatement for how I felt. Finally, 6:52, my order is ready. I take my order home, and once I get home, hungry and ready to eat, guess what? I take one bite of the rice, and it's stale. As if the rice was reheated from the microwave. I've never had this issue until today. Did they see my annoyed face and think they had to rush my order even faster so I don't complain? Well guys, as a restaurant owner myself, this is not how you should do business. Learn to prioritize your orders, especially when there are customers waiting in front of you. 20 minutes turning into 40 minutes is absolutely ridiculous. Also, this is just a side note. DIABLO means SPICY, very very very very very spicy. Your diablo sauce literally tastes like sriracha, hummus, and mayo. Isn't spicy at all. I, as of today will no longer be supporting this business. I am now sitting at home, cooking myself my own steam rice, and pairing with the steak and shrimp I got from Mi Hibachi. Oh, and I also need to use Truff hot sauce cause this sauce ain't cutting it.

She drove from the West Covina mall all the way up to La puente high school 3 TIMES just to make sure it wasn't there. She's been driving for 30 minutes with my toddler now it is 11:12 PM. Her order was supposed to be ready at 10:41. They must've closed early because they are supposed to close at 11 PM. And their phone number DOESN'T work we have been calling since 10:40 PM so we can't even contact them. Now I have to deal with her and my daughter coming back home hangry. And everything is closed right now since it is late Thanks

Bachiyaki is no longer in La puente . March 7th 2026 …read more There is a new truck that's working with Bachiyaki called Flamin Hibachi . Relatives or pals ? Who knows but from their bold statements on Instagram stating that food is "made to order " it's completely false . This truck is not cooking fresh food . I'm not going to say it was Horrible but being in the food industry myself ; stuff like that stands out as a profit business rather than a people's business . Yea we purchase from these food trucks to support the Owners of the company but to serve the people with premade food that's been sitting out and reheated isn't necessarily for the people . It's just a money grab . We want hot fresh food not left overs from the last batch . Rice was sitting Veggies aren't that flavorful I got more fingers on my hand than I got chicken in my bowl Ontop of the food sitting out ; so was their sauces . They aren't refrigerated in order to preserve its flavor . They just marinate in the hibachi heat the truck produces . I ditched "mihibachi" that's down the street ( by the dmv ) for "Bachiyaki" but after this experience with the new chain "Flamin hibachi" I know if I go to "mihibachi" I'll get some fresh food . I expect more from a truck that was blessed by their peers with a permanent spot to set up shop .

I seek out good pizza, especially Napoli style and again, this is one of the best, if not the best in the US. Rivals some in Naples, I have to say. Even their Marinara Pizza which is basic, no cheese, is phenomenal. The Sauce and dough!!! The Pesto, Regina and Diavola are my faves. I haven't tried the pasta but need to. I'm sure it's just as great. I hope they keep coming to Santa Clarita. Big fan over here.

In 2023, Yelp ranked this as the 13th top pizza spot in the US and Canada, which is an awesome accolade if you think about how many pizza spots are out there. Anyway, my go-to has always been the Salsiccia, which is a mushroom-and-sausage pizza. Other favorites include the Carnivora for meat eaters and the Margherita if you want something classic. The dough is soft and chewy with nicely charred blisters around the crust, the sauce they use really sings, and the ingredients (particularly the basil) are fresh and flavorful. I definitely recommend eating their pies as soon as you receive them. My wife and I don't even wait to drive back home because we know the best time to eat a piping hot pizza is right away. I look forward to trying their pesto-based pizzas, like the Regina, next time we visit!
