We found them via random googling for a nice restaurant with steak for me and seafood for my husband. On the menu, which has a variety of options, my husband discovered their "filete al trapo" which is when the steak is wrapped in a wine soaked towel and cooked. We were sold to try something so unique sounding, so we booked a reservation on trip advisor.
The steak was cooked at our table on a blackstone by Chef Hope. Cooked to medium, it was perfection. Every bite was delicious and had a hint of smoke. The steak is a shared dish that comes with two sides. We both got mashed potatoes which were heavenly. Legit did not have a single bad bite to eat.
Our server, Armando, was wonderful! He was quick, helpful, and nice, helping to provide recommendations and get us refills/reorders of our Old Fashioned's promptly. Service was very quick that our empanada starters came out at the same time as Chef Hope to cook the steak.
The meal was very filling but I still wanted dessert so we ordered the 'chewy chenta' which is a cookie with ice cream served in a skillet.
Finally, because I had mentioned we were celebrating our honeymoon when booking our table, Armando and other staff brought us over a dessert with a sparkler in it and sang us congratulations. It was a great surprise! Plus they gave us a free tequila shot!
The atmosphere is cool and moody with great music.
Truly, this was one of the best meals of my life, if not THE best.
