This isn't my first visit to this location but I've never left a review. I bought the al pastor burrito which was a little more spicier for my enjoyment. I ate the majority of it and shared the rest with my son. He said that the burrito was very tasty, he wasn't a fan of the salsa. But he said the al pastor was seasoned well. I guess if I go back and try the al pastor again I will ask them to put the sauce on the side. Cuz I would really like to know what the al pastor taste like without burning my taste buds. I always enjoy the carne asada from this location. Most often, I used to go and get the carne fries. I got the regular burrito which came up to 1199. It was a good size portion burrito. The Supreme comes with cheese and sour cream. If you're interested in that it's $1 more. There was plenty of seating when I went, cuz I went at 3:00 p.m. I know they tend to get busy during the lunch hour because of all of the warehouse wirkers in the area probably come and eat. Big 'ol burrito - there were no uncooked potatoes - all soft on the inside w a nice crisp on the outside, and the chorizo had some crunchy bits which I love. Wasn't crazy about the salsa, but thats just my preference. It wasn't bad, just not my thing. Service was quick with two lovely ladies working the grill and register. As far as quick bites off the side of the highway go, Tacos Chapala is as good as it gets. I work nearby and one day my boss placed an order and had me pick it up for him. That was the first time I had it. I've continued to come here at least once a month with my co-workers. The breakfast burritos are some of the best I've ever had. The portion sizes are more than adequate. The ingredients they use are so good that you taste every piece in every bite. All the salsas in their salsa bar are phenomenal. Their horchata is wonderful. Fast, efficient service - order at the counter and menu is right behind the cashier in large font so you can see the options clearly. Food was done in around 10 mins or less. Patio seating out front, some spots in sun and some in the shade. Food was delicious and flavorful. I ordered 2 types of tacos, and recommend the pork over beef for quality. I've came here a few times already but I'm not sure if I would be coming here again. When I first walked in one of the cooks gave me an ugly look so I smiled and she just kept on giving me an ugly look. As I proceeded to order I asked the cashier in Spanish what the hot Cheeto burrito had and instead what she did was say uhhhh what? And proceeds to speak in English. She knew how to speak Spanish but decided not to. After I ordered I told the lady that it was for here. When she gave me the order she gave it to go and so I told her I had ordered for here not to go. What's really frustrating is that this area is near construction sites so there's many construction workers and instead of being nice to everyone in general, they break their back to give great customer service to these men when it should be for everyone. Decided to give this place another try and came with co-workers. I was really disappointed that they ran out of the lengua, but they said it was because not as many people come to this location (understandable). I ended up getting the tripes, buche, and asada. I asked for no onions and no spicy sauces and they delivered. There's a little cart of sauces and pickled vegetables towards the entrance where you can grab what you please. I wish they moved the cart closer towards the back or put some covers over the sauces because I feel like they were getting really dusty and gross sitting by the doorway. This time around, I squirted a bunch of lemon juice on top of my tacos and it tasted a lot better. However, the tacos still had the same level of greasiness pooling at the bottom of my plate and they were still very salty- I want to taste the meats, not the salt! They have one of the best sauces. The orange sauce. We go there serval time for lunch. However, the service sucks! The girl workers are rude. They get my orders wrong all the time. I let it go every time. BUT THIS IS MY LAST TIME AT THIS PLACE!!!! My super nacho had a big piece of saran wrap in the guacamole!!!!! It was disgusting! Not a place I would recommend. Off Arch Road and 99, for the consistent choices available in the area they are good. I've had the quesobirria and chicken tacos, they were great. I've also had the birria nachos and really good.
