Ended up at the Lathrop Food Plaza to pick up dinner on my way home. Again, the husband wanted a burrito. I randomly picked Tacos Catrina as the truck was aesthetically pleasing. Customer service was friendly. Ordered a carne asada burrito with everything and a diet coke. Nice cold can of soda. The burrito was ready, brought it home and by the time I got to my house, the grease from the burrito had soiled the bag. Cleaned up and threw the burrito on a plate. I did get extra salsa. Yesterday I was craving tacos so I stopped here. I asked the employee if they had birria tacos and she told me the "Taco Catrina" is birria. They were $3.85 each so I ordered 4. It only took a few minutes to get the tacos and consume and they let me pay with a credit card for a $0.50 fee so that was nice. The tacos were good. They were larger than typical street tacos. The al pastor is very flavorful and the fresh pineapple is such a balanced addition. The pineapple is not grilled but it's fresh not canned! Huge difference. I tried the carnitas for the first time.
