We ordered and waited. We were given complimentary chips & salsa while we wait. It took about 10 minutes when our food arrived. The service was good, BUT. I know. There's always some kind of disappointment. Anyway, when we ordered, the waiter didn't tell us about the specials for the day. The "specials" was that if we buy 3 tacos OR a burrito, we would get a FREE Jamaica drink. They didn't tell us about it, nor did they even ask us if we wanted one.....since we were "entitled" to one. I ordered a horchata drink to down my food. The food was good, but the hot sauce could have been better. So come and check it out for yourself.

We've tried the usual suspects - carne asada and al pastor, but they have more on their menu, some of them I've never heard of. The owner is a super cool guy who with a great personality and the service was excellent. I know there are tons of tacos options in Mexicali, but if you are reading this review - seriously, drive to this place and enjoy probably the best tacos you can get in Baja.

My friend's dad makes the best carne asada and I don't think anyone can even come close to that delicious carne asada. The tacos al pastor though here are ridiculously good. The seasoning on the spit-grilled pork was aggressive and you definitely need to ask for extra pineapple to help balance things out. I enjoyed the beans they offer here on the house as well. Hand sanitizer is offered if you walk into the shop and there's a bathroom for you to wash your hands. Grab a soda and pull up a seat for some good tacos! I recommend sitting inside if you can.
