I went here during dinner time as I wanted to try something outside. They were running a special of 3 tacos and a side for $12.99 and I ended up getting their watermelon drink for an extra $3.50. I did not have to wait long I ordered the Korean BBQ, fried chicken and the Mexican Shrimp. All were very good and would recommend. The chips and guacamole was great too. Man it pains me to write this as I both loved this place from its opening and really do admire the charitable aspect of it, but guys... 1. The prices have become insane. It is now roughly the same price for us to eat at Texas Roadhouse as it is to eat at TFL. My son likes the two Korean BBQ tacos plate and with a drink it is like 16 bucks. That is wild, and it is even more stunning given that... 2. It is never NOT filthy in here. The tables are never bussed. The floor is always covered in various goo and rice. I don't think an owner or at least regional manager has stepped foot in our TFL in years now. Sad. This is not the only corporate chain place here that is shockingly worse in all aspects that their other branches (ehhhmmm it rhymes with pichotle!). Disappointed. Lacking flavor, very bland and just didn't have any satisfaction to the order (shrimp taco). Barely had any shrimp, it had mostly lettuce. Very cool place in Fort Smith, good food and good service. I would go back again based on my experience. Walked in it had a good vibe to it, different textures all around. I heard good things about it and was looking forward to trying it out for myself. I was not disappointed. Regarding service, I got the Honey limeade and my cup was about empty, a lady came over and asked if I wanted another and I didn't know I could...she asked if I could take the lid off, she got me a refill and came back. Visited Tacos 4 Life for the first time tonight with my family while staying near Fort Smith. My daughters enjoyed their orders of nachos a lot, and my wife enjoyed her mahi tacos as well. My order was 1 Korean bbq and 1 habanero mango chicken taco with a side of Mexican corn. Both tacos were super tasty, but the Mexican corn was just creamed corn with a few things sprinkled in top to make it Mexican. Once the crumbled cheese and cilantro had been eaten off the top it was just a cup of creamed corn and I would not order it again. Great tacos, though, with a great mission! read more

I took my sister to lunch yesterday and we decided to try tacos for life for the very first time. I can best describe this experience as disappointing and over priced!! You know how when you try a Mexican restaurant for the very first time and they bring chips and salsa to the table. You taste the chips. You taste the salsa. And at that moment you form an impression you know this place is either going to be good or it's going to be mediocre. 1. The chips, the iconic appetizer, are not free so they better be good right? Well stale and chewy pretty much captures it. So we asked for fresh chips which took forever and the chips they brought were just like the first batch! Yuck! The quesadilla was not bad abs sister said the tacos were good but we spent $30.0 and change and could have gone through Taco Bell drive thru for a third that price! Btw, just for fun O took the stale chips home with me (hell I paid for 'em right?) and put them in the oven with the leftover quesadilla and they came out crunchy and tasty! So? Is it that the folks there don't know how to cook tortilla chips?? Or??? We went for the first time today and wasn't really impressed so we most likely won't come back. For what we received we felt it was pretty overpriced. I ordered the tofu taco which was decent but very underspiced and it was served on a grocery store quality flour tortilla. My husband was just "meh" about his chicken tacos. We were on our way home from Hot Springs and were starving. Luckily, Tacos 4 Life was along our route and we love going to the one by where we live. We arrived around lunch time on a Wednesday. It was pretty full, but we did not have a long wait in the line for the cashier or for when we were waiting for our food at the table. I used to love tacos 4 life. My dine in experience the last two times has changed that. Both times people were entering the restaurant without face masks and none of the staff would correct the issue even when my wife and I complained. Additionally the beef taco meat now as my wife says tastes like dog food, not sure how she knows what dog food tastes like but it's definitely not good. I asked one of the staff members who said the Manger had adjusted the beef do to quality issues. I will try another location, but not going to return here. read more
